Maybe not the Masters, but something! I've never been so sure of anything since I married my first wife. I always liked him and have felt bad watching what he's had to go through since his big win, that's why I'm happy he's going to be back in the winners circle next year! :)

^^ Been saying something similar myself for a while but I wouldn't make a guarantee he'll win, its tough for anyone to get a win and he's mostly still playing the events with the stronger fields. Good to see him playing well again, he seems like a decent bloke.

Well Willett's form seems to be returning so the idea of him winning this new season isn't necessarily far fetched. But no sure thing either.

He’s actually quite good before wining the masters. It’s his brother who’s rubbish. Winning the masters that way might have been a bad thing believe it or not. Just a theory. He didn’t run anyone down and win it. Jordan puked and lost it. Any player would rather not win that way if possible. Especially to a high profile guy. What I’m trying to say is that it made him a “ villain “ and he certainly wasn’t before.

 

I’d bet anything he’s backslid because of the pressure from that win and I’d also bet if he hadn’t won the masters he’d have ran away with a major by now somewhere else.

 

Not a dig at willet whatsoever. I watched him a lot on the euro tour prior to his masters win. He was quite good at getting a lead and running off with it.

Completely agree! Similar age to myself and being the golf geek that I am seeing the name coming through from amateur golf and his steady progression up until he won The Masters was great to watch (sweeter because I had him on at £10 at 70/1). The slide backwards has been hard to watch but I'm certain that he will get back into the winners circle.
