Tiger has exceeded all expectations since his comeback considering some saying he was done.

I just don’t think that he will win the masters because of the talent he is up against.

I agree, Tiger better play short of the bunkers on 5 or at least hit a tree shot to the right, he's always got an avenue to carve a shot, but that sand is his nemesis this year. I mean, dude, you're not gonna carry that damn thing, just hit 3w or something that gives you 230-250 in the fairway, at least you can par from that.

Webb attacks the ball, he doesn't guide it. When he's on he's very good. Tiger attacks the ball too. I think that style works when the heat is on...like tomorrow.

Anyone else excited for the rest of 2019, given Tiger's current state?!?! We had to wait until Canrnoustie for him to turn it on last year, in 2019 he's really getting after it early. He's nothing if not consistent these days, sooner or later #15 is gonna come if he keeps at it.

Needless to say, YE was dang good against Tiger in those days (especially 2006)

Tiger was 4 back of Dimarco going into Sunday when he last won the Masters. That tournament had a super early start on Sunday as well. Good grief, it is hard to believe that was 14 years ago.

But not the 4th round. In 2005 they finished the 3rd round Sunday morning. When it was done Tiger led by 3 shots due to his 7 consecutive birdies across late Saturday into Sunday morning.

Agreed... he's playing the same game as Tiger with great drives and iron play... seems unflappable.

 

I think that Tiger's gonna rely on the heat of the back 9 to put some pressure on these guys.

Brandel showed some iron shots from Molinari, multiple over 200 were within 40 feet on the greens, if its windy could be more difficult from these distances

Keys to victory:

-1 tomorrow through 5.

-3 on the par 5s.

High GIR % and no bunkers

Maximum two dropped shots

No hitting the flag stick and spinning into the water

Don't be aggressive on the front 9. All he needs is -2 on the front.

Winning score to par will be 15 under. 15 May be a playoff

The Masters uses outdated putting stats, but still Molinari is second in the field with 26.6 putts per round and 0 3-putts. Brooks has had 5 3-putts already!

 

I wonder if Tiger will hit driver of 3 again. He's hit it within 40 yards in the fairway each day and still can't manage to birdie.
