Yeah, will be interesting to see the head specs and lofts. The MP-18 range had different lofts throughout the MP/SC vs the MMC and FliHi.

I have never looked forward to a release this much. Wish I could get fit and buy today, but when they come out I will take the mp20 blade and t20s in whatever shaft/spec the optimizer tells me!

Well when EVERY other OEM offers stuff in LH its about time they figure it the F out. Then make just blade in LH wow really going after a tiny fraction of market. Id do a full set if HMB but Im sure righty only so Ill stick to any other OEM.

The new stock specs are quarter inch longer. Does this represent a true change or just a change in the way they are measured? I was very happy with the old standard length so I need to know whether to order a quarter inch short or not.

Lefty version sounds like HMB in only 3-4 iron then MP20 blades for rest or are they a HMB variant?

Lefty here with what will probably be a contrarian opinion. Mizuno $*1- the bed. Again.

 

Before today, I was salivating over the idea of a combo set (either players cavity 3-6/MB 7-PW or GI 3-4/players cavity 5-7/MB 8-PW).

 

This left-handed “option” is worse than two years ago. Going from a straight players cavity in 3-PW to a static combo set that (1) skips the MMC altogether (??) and (2) starts the MB at the 5-iron?!

 

Good thing I’ve stockpiled MP-53s and MP-57s.

The article above says the SEL is “special edition lefty” and the full set of the MB’s??

Surprised that even the HMB are really low bounce. Is this measured differently from manufacturer to manufacturer? Blueprints have about 6 degrees more bounce club per club

As I recall, Mizuno has always been very low bounce when compared to the higher bounce offerings from Ping. I think it's the respective design philosophy of each particular brand.
