If left handed people bought more golf equipment, than left handers would get a reputation that they're more serious about equipment and equipment companies would produce more. It's all supply and demand.

C-Taper Lite in X, especially if you like Modus 120/130. I have found I have to use X in anything C-Taper otherwise it performs and feels like crap.

Nice to see a true forging companies new products after months and years of partially forged heads to hit the market. Certainly deception intended (forged bodies, cast faces, cast bodies, forged faces...a big enough hammer and you can forge anything). Great to see a company that uses 1025 carbon steel from a billet 14 + steps (as opposed to a cast steel alloy that is hit 4 or less times and called forged) for most of their players products and now are going away from double nickel chrome plating to putting a copper layer between the nickel platings. Did find it ironic that their hollow iron seemed to illustrate a welded hosel after they criticized Muira for that.

Ummm pretty much EVERY OEM makes 80-90% of offerings in LH except Mizuno. Even Miura has a CB and MB version. PXG has every offering in LH except the new 0311ST. I even thought the ultra premium Callaway offerings Epic and Epic star forged would be RH only. Nope both RH and LH. Mizuno can kiss my a**. My money will go elsewhere. The other thing Mizuno doesnt realize is that many lefites are OCD with equipment so less of us but by and large buy more.

Not banned, they need a special place for them. Everyone is annoyed when a left hander shows up at the practice range and sets up in front of them. They should reserve the first 2-3 stations on the left side of the range for left handed people.

I'm glad Mizuno decided to make the HMB more MP like in appearance at address. H4 and H5 were good ideas but the long irons got really chunky, not even close to MP iron lineage. Looking forward to trying these out.

 

They finally throw leftys a bone and they're still livid. Such is life, I guess.

A Quick search on TGW shows 114 RH options and 65 LH options for irons and iron sets. Mizuno is right in line offering 3 out of 6 irons in LH. Also, Mizzy is not the same size as most of the other OEMs and I guarantee you the volume they put out is much lower. Miura charges 2k+ a set and still you said it yourself only have 2 offerings in LH. Your post is just ranting for no reason and detracting from talking about all the other good s*** coming out of the new line.

I can't imagine I'll be moving out of the MP-18s, but I'm really curious to see the HMB at address. My UDI is on it's way out in favor of a 52-56-60 set up because even Mizuno is mislabeling the 9 iron with a P these days, and I'm thinking of replacing my 3 iron with something driving ironish.

Are you referring to the MP-20 HMB's ???

If so, they are most definitely not welded. The face & neck are both grain flow forged.

Thinking something similar, need to see the MMC and HMB at address. That HMB looks damn good, but they all do. I am only looking at 5-9, interested how much better the MMC short irons look this time

Well the fact they made a set for 5% of the 10% of golfers yeah Id say bad decision. Should do a combo set with MMC/MP 20 makes more sense or just the MMC.

I mean really what does it cost for Mizuno to make a mold like $20,000-25,000 thats a fraction of a penny. Mizuno offer the new models as a custom LH order through Yoro Craft. Not rocket science.

Pics look amazing. Was preparing to order a set of Hot Metal Pro's - but now I'm not sure whether to hold off in favour of the HMB? Any sense of how much less forgiving / playabale the HMB will be compared to the Pro's?

That is what I was referring to as a picture posted on another forum showed the hosel separate from the head. Along side it they showed the MB model with the grain flow lines going through the hosel, but only the head had those lines in the HMBs with the hosel being separate. Was in Japanese so maybe they were making another point. Pleased to be wrong, wonder what that illustration was showing.
