I was able to hit the Cobra F9 Speedback Driver against several offerings from your competitors this week and I was really impressed with the F9. What specific technology (or combination thereof) did Cobra develop for the F9 Driver that gives it an advantage over the field?

I recently purchased the F9 Tour Fairways in 3 and 5 woods. Best FW’s that I can ever remember playing. Was it difficult to produce a fairway that is that easy to hit the low bullet; but will also fly high off the tee?

Rickie and Bryson are two very different players who I suspect think about the game in a different way. How do you balance both their input into the F9 to get a product that both of them put straight in the bag?

 

Related: how much did the original prototypes of the F9 change following feedback from tour players? Do you test with amateur players as well?

Because there are designers/engineers and a marketing person - I think this is a good question for all of them:

 

How do you achieve a balance between club design that might be the best on paper vs. club design that might be more marketable? As a generalization, most amateurs would benefit from a shorter and heavier shaft in the driver, but it isn't really s.exy to market reliability. We see that distance is what sells. So how do you go about this process?

I have a few friends who are willing and able driver off the deck players. I find it interesting that they all play cobra drivers. Do you design your drivers with this use in mind at all?

Bridgestone Golf (and possibly other manufacturers) have had milled driver faces before Cobra by at least a year or two. What differentiates your driver face (CNC?) milling from Bridgestone and others? What makes the CNC driver face milling measurably better than other driver face milling? Outside of typical marketing claims of course?

Cobra F9; you've created a driver with the feel of a jdm product with the forgiveness and adjustability of a usdm product. Thank you. My question is, can you make a mini version (275cc - 300cc) with 14 loft and 42 1/2" length. Oh, and a D3 to D4 swing weight.....

With the different personalities among Tour staff on Cobra Golf's roster, have there been any cool ideas that they contributed in terms of marketing the different innovations in the products? For instance, actors have contributed ideas to scripts or adlibbed lines into the final product, anything similar with the Tour staff? Rickie, Bryson, and Lexi seem like they would have interesting ideas

I put the 2015 Cobra Fly Z in the bag (also the My Golf Spy Most Wanted) and never looked back. I tried the F6&7 but it stayed in the bag. The F8 was a different story and moved it out. The F9 is a beast from all reports so if you had to pick one thing that separated the F9 from all your previous amazing big dogs what would it be? I'm looking for the reason to kick the F8 out of my bag.

You guys have been absolutely killing it lately! I am impressed at the dedication to providing a top to bottom offering for all skill levels.

 

Do you guys plan on completing the lineup and entering into the putter space or is that just not a focus at the moment?

 

Is there possibly any further advances than can be made upon the F9? Will it be current until there is a substantial improvement to be made?

 

I have to add that I hit the F9 for the first time this past weekend. Amazing feel off the face. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about it.
