you are very much correct. That and his irons have not been great. I guess you could say that about Spieth. He has made 6 birdies and I think is plus 1 on his round.

Interesting to hear Wise say after his round he thought USGA would try and get the course set up for low single digits to be the winning score. Earlier in this thread the estimates were somewhere high single digits/low double digits winning. If Wise is right Tiger/Spieth et al will be right there after today.

Besides sell more beer what else can they do besides not water the greens? You can tuck the pins and doesn't matter as a shot to the middle of the green leaves a birdie putt on most.
