This has been one of my concerns about Big Cat since he won The Masters. He seems like he doesn’t have anything else to prove. Honesty, he’s better off showing up 10-12 times a year. It’ll prolong his health.

Or just the cold weather. Ball doesn't fly as far and he's probably swinging a couple MPH slower.

Tiger is definitely in pain. Those deep exhales aren't related to the not so perfect shots. I'm not sure if being in the lead would help the pain or not. He's using the kinesio tape again in his neck.

Personally I'll try to enjoy every tournament he plays in because who knows how many more that will be before he's just had enough and calls it quits.

So why not Brooks Koepka. Not saying I know anything either way, but the growth of his head alone recalls a prime Barry Bonds.

As a 6’2”, 223lb HS senior LB(1979), I flat backed 325lbs, as the D1 programs looked for a size/strength ratio of 100lbs+ over one’s body weight flat-back bench press for all linemen, TE’s, FB’s(yea, we had these dinosaurs? back then?) & LB’s. WR’s & RB(half backs) were excluded.

It’s damn impressive for sure! I played HS football with some big dudes for back in the early 90s. Our QB was 6’ 175 lbs and benched with the lineman. Saw him bench 315 in the weigh room, then I went back over to my kiddie weight set.. Really really insane. He was a fantastic player and team leader, and needed up walking on and starting at 3B for UCLA. But I remember sitting in my history class (head coach was my teacher) and he was on a phone call with the KU football HC. He specially said to him that our QB benched with the lineman. Always thought that was pretty cool. Everyone respected the sh*t out of him.

Fox has the most boring golf crew. For anyone that is not really into golf, they would fall asleep listening to these guys. They literally don't have on exciting or critical announcer.. Faxon and Zinger - what bore. Guys if you want to announce be a little critical, like Faldo or Miller. There whole crew is monotone and dry....

He's on pace to only play that many events this year and he's had a ton of rust on his game pretty much the whole season. Limited schedule is the right move for his health, no question about it. But I don't think we will see him play at a consistently high level moving forward.

If a person is not into Golf, why would they even tune in? The telecasts are setup for the casual golfer too much as it is, we don't need even more of it. Personally, mic up the players and caddies, and shuttle ALL the announcers. They aren't necessary. This is TV, not radio.

Be interesting to see what happens at the British and the weather. It would appear he just wants to post his score and get back to the east coast. He could be pulling driver at this point but I don’t think he even wants to hit out of the rough.

Guess you miss the whole point. I have been watching and playing golf for 48 years - a golf addict and trust me when I say this is the most boring group of announcers. You are in the minority, as everyone I know feels the same way about Fox and announcers. I and others I know, that are also golf addicts, like listening to the good announcers over the years too, like Venturi, Miller, Nantz, McCord, Feharty and on and on. They help make the telecast even better. Not sure what this has to do with radio either. Golf announcers are not play by play like PGA Tour radio. :)

Good announcers could only liven this tournament, as so far, it definitely is not a US Open feel too it. Maybe it will later today, but so far it has been blah. No weather, no wind, greens slower than normal and 11 under winning. That is not US Open golf....

If the course went back to the clubhouse at 9 he may consider it, but I think he’d only withdraw if he was truly hurt and it looks more like he’s just uncomfortable.

Glove: ML
Tees: 2 3/4
Towel: white
Repair tool: metal
Ball Marker: largest poker chip in the world
Iron headcovers: wait, what?

The feedback system is annoying
