These are super solid - only played one round with them  Nice and compact head and soft forged feel.  Not keeping them in the bag, just opted for a set of MP20 MBs.  The were very consistent distances and felt great.  For me they did not spin enough compared to what I am used to.  I love spin off my irons vs all the craze to get everything such low spin.  Willing to sell if interested.  Also, by the way, the wedges are amazing as well.

BS would get more recognition to a certain degree if they didn't go way of the dodo bird in regards to their iron releases after the J15 series.

I picked up the driver this week.  Came with the Tour AD TX3-5 shaft.  I can not find anything about the shaft specs.  I currently play the AD DI and the TX 3-5 feels lighter and spins more for me.

I'd Buy the 201's on site if available in the USA for a custom set.  They remind me of the old tourstage 201's & J40 DPC's had a baby.

It appears only club champion and true spec have fitting heads available, maybe other select accounts.

I'm really not sure why there is such negative feedback posts on the looks of these irons.  They look like anything else that Bridgestone has put out in the last couple of decades really.  They look simple and classic, and also for someone who can actually play golf.  Why do you need etched out laser lines all over the place for something to look sweet?  I believe that the company is done with releasing clubs to NA as a normal going forward.  You may find them in a few green grass/country club spots, but that's about it except from ordering them from Japan, or maybe an expensive fitter outlet.

Ehhhh, I have a large soft spot for Bridgestone after gaming the j36 for 9 years. That said these are not where they should be headed. I'm confident the shape and feel is as good as it always has been but your niche is in no nonsense quality clubs. Why you have to muck that up with the badges etc. is beyond me. 

 

If you make quality clubs with good looks people will notice, these look like the guy on the street corner flipping a sign for attention.

I agree, the experiment to infiltrate the US market via a recognized brand name didn’t pan out.  I like the clubs, j40 series was great for me, had high hopes for j15 and not quite there.  The DPF is just not what I expected, the MBs are solid, and I’m not paying the used market prices to try the CB.

I have J40's CB's, J15 CB's, X-CB's & HF2's, have not been disappointed. I will likely purchase one of these when available here locally, have not heard if/when USA release will be.

I never bought into the Bridgestone hype until I played a set of the tour b cb’s.  One of the best feeling and performing irons I ever played.  Funny because that model received quite a bit of negative feedback based on how the back of the club looked.

They continue to turn out great irons and I’m sure these will feel amazing.  Interesting these are made with s20c (if I got that right).  Would love to hear why they moved from 1020.

 

IDK, the blades and the cb’s look very classic Bridgestone to me.  I’m definitely curious about them.  Just wish they were more readily available to the public to try.

Saw them in JIN YOUNG KO’s bag at the ShopRite LPGA event today. They looked really nice.

Slap Callaway or TM on them and the same folks will swoon. Just the way golf snobs are. I like the looks of the mb and the cavity back. Reminds me of the Cleveland 588s.  And those were great clubs.
