Thank you sir! You could PM as well.. I'm just fearful that the shaft cost is pretty high. Trying to think what is a good option to get from their list, if I were to order a TSi3.

Titleist TSi3 10* (at 9.25*) w/ Tour AD DI 6X
Titleist TSR2 15* w/ Tour AD MJ 8X
Titleist TSR2 18* Hybrid w/ Fuji Atmos Blue Tour Spec 8X

Mizuno MP Fli-Hi 3 iron w/ KBS Tour V S HS'd
Titleist 716CB 4-P w/ DG AMT TI X100 SS'd
Vokey SM7 Slate Blue 54.10 (1* strong) and 58.08 with Onyx DGTI S400
PING PLD Anser D 35"

2021 ProV1 or Left Dash ProV1x (or random other tour quality balls LOL)

Thinking the same thing for my 3 wood.. as good as the shaft feels in a driver you would think it has to be just as good in a 3 wood, especially since I use my 3 wood primarily from the tee...

My thoughts exactly.  It also has the Ventus Blue (7X) so if I go that route hopefully the gains would be similar.

I was able to hit the RDX Black today. I haven’t been following “made for” vs “real deal” on these but I was very impressed. This was the stock shaft in the Sim2 and it was a 6.5. I normally would not try the 6.5 but it wanted to take it for a quick spin. The shaft was very smooth and surprisingly easy to load and swing. The shaft felt much smoother than my Ventus Black 6s. I would have to really put the shaft under pressure of a round of golf but it really got me to thinking. I have not been tempted away form my Ventus by anything at all for over a year. Why did I have to try that shaft. Now I want to try the Blue.

If you like Ventus Black and the RDX Black, not sure you’ll like the RDX blue much as it’s so different. Much more active or kick-y feel due to the soft mid-section which neither Black shaft has. Won’t know until you try it for yourself though, obviously.

I haven’t been able to figure out how to capture the numbers for my system in a format better that just pictures, but so far in my SIM 8* it’s the Blue RDX TX 60 winning out over the Ventus Blue 6X.  Ball speeds have been average 1-2 mph (last session was the first time averaging just over 170) more and spin has been averaging 100-200 less.  I know it’s not a whole lot but the more I swing the RDX the better it feels.  I’ll be doing another comparison when my SIM2 8* get here with both heads and shaft combos being tested.  Debating whether to get the 70tx for my sim ti rocket.

Anxiously awaiting your next session and thoughts of the Blue vs. the Ventus.  Am not even close to your swing speed so need all the help I can get from the shaft 😜.  Thanks.

Is the smoke black rdx for titleist a "made for" shaft? Because on titleist's website their specs for the rdx show the 60 5.5 flex 5.2 torque, and the 6.0 flex at 4.1 torque. But on project x website is shows the torques 4.0 and 3.5 respectively. Thanks!

Good question.  Anyone?

I’ll be hitting some this evening or tomorrow am at the latest.  I just ordered the 70tx for my 3 wood as well.

when I get the sim 2 in I’ll try and post a comparison of each head and shaft combo.  If I was skilled enough I’d do a video..

I hit the Sim2 with the RDX Black 6.5 and couldn't keep it from going left. My current gamer is between a HZRDUS T1100 6.5 and a Ventus Black 7X and the RDX 6.5 felt much softer overall. It did feel smooth and I could see it fitting a ton of people right between 6.0 and 6.5 but unfortunately its not right for me!

If you're a fit to the HZRDUS T1100 6.5, there's practically zero chance you're going to find the 6.5 RDX Black to be playable in any weight. Was it the RDX 70 or 60?

Yeah, I would think that could be a problem for you because I am not an X Flex guy. I was really surprised I could swing the 6.5 with no issues at all. If I dropped to a 6.0, I would probably see the same results. I did like the feel though. Very smooth and controlled.

If you like the RDX black you'll love the Graphite design AD iz shaft even more smoother than the RDX with a little higher launch and similar spin , I switched out my RDX black with the iz in my TSI2 , the good thing is I like both shafts so I can always go back and fourth between the two but the IZ is super smooth .

@KC4441 what was the underlying difference that awarded the RDX Blue over the Ventus and was it significant or marginal?  Thanks.

HZRDUS Blue RDX is the clear winner.  I won’t even bother posting the Ventus.  The 2900 spin shot skewed the numbers a tad, but this is my combo with the SIM 8*.  Now if the the SIM 2 can improve these numbers we’ll see

It was the 70. And you are correct there is nothing getting shipped with the standard 2021 fitting carts for Titleist, TM, Callaway, or Ping that works for me but its just too fun to not play with the new toys

It was consistently lower spin (not by much) but was much more consistent for me in ball speed due to better strike pattern.  I was hitting over 170 much more consistently with the RDX Blue.  With the Ventus it would happen occasionally, but on average was 2-3 mph less than the RDX. It may have something to do with the slight counterbalance since that a profile I’ve always hit well.  The Ventus is still great, the RDX Blue was just that much better.  It was verified again today on the course (even thought the weather man was wrong and it was 30* when we teed off) with Driver hitting 6/8 fairway I used it, and the 2 misses were about 3-4 yards into the rough is all..

If you like the RDX black you'll like the Graphite design ad iz I have both and the iz is very smooth and higher launching with the same spin as the RDX .

Anyone else that normally doesn’t play X-stiff been fit into Hzrdus Smoke Black RDX 6.5?

My 103mph swing with smooth transition is very surprised 😊

I hit that shaft today in a Sim 2 10.5 head my swing speed is the same as yours , I didn't find it to be to much shaft for me but I do have it in 6.0 in my Titleist TSI 2 .

Yes, yellow was in my previous driver. I would say performance wise they are nearly identical, and feel in the blue is slightly smoother. I keep trying lots of shafts and always wind up being fit for a HZRDUS.
