We randomize all the number of posts and the #1 number on the top is the winner. Say there is 1,000 replies from members. We will randomize 1 to 1,000 using a website that has a randomizer. It scrambles the numbers and the #1 is the first place and the #2 is the second etc. If the winner has duplicate entries we count the first.

I wish the caching on Google was better.  Search is now limited to Forum search as the old threads are not properly cached if you search w/ Google (which is my preferred method of searching topics).

I guess that also means I wish search worked better in forum software.  ?

Relatively new here but I echo the “search” statements. I also think making tags for topics more consistent/required could help bridge the search-ability gap found on a lot of multi-faceted forum sites like this one.

When you are in the BST forum and you click a listing and read it and then go back it takes you to the beginning of the listings not to the place you were at in the list.
