Another Tour win for the X Forged CB! KH Lee hit a lot of tremendous iron shots.

Any chance someone has both the XFCB and the TCB for some pictures? I would love to see the differences in the sole, top line, etc. Even a comparison against the 21 APEx pro would be helpful.

No photos of the xforged, but I did hit the 4-7 iron.  I also have a set of TCB’s.  Xforged slightly more offset.  Less rounded, longer blade.  Soles about the same width on both.  I did not notice a difference in top lines.  Hopefully someone can post side by side since I am going by memory.  I found both felt great, I had different shafts in them but feel seemed very similar, Xforged was more forgiving on toe strikes.

The X Forged CB that seems to only have too much offset for the wrx crowd has picked up yet another win on the PGA Tour. Somehow Si Woo Kim is able

to overcome all that offset. Amazing. It’s almost as if the claims that offset causes balls to go left is a complete myth. Hmmm.

It is odd lol, because the X Forged CB has the same amount of sets being played on tour as the TCB. Seven sets each last time I checked. Which is sort of an odd thing if they do away with the X Forged, because I've heard some Callaway staffers were just recently fit into them. 🤷‍♂️

I was only poking fun since a lot of wrx posters talk about the offset on the x forged cb being so bad, as there is this belief that offset is inherently bad and causes hooks. Which I guess would also mean that if a player slices his irons, there must not be enough offset.

I think it’s really a matter of preference, even on Tour. When the XFCB was released, Callaway said they had set the offset based on input from Tour pros — several of whom wanted more, not less. So I guess the ones who want more offset go for the XFCB and the ones who want less choose the TCB. The XFCB is definitely the easier to hit of the two.

It really is silly.  XFCB are outstanding irons.  Some of the best feeling on the market, IMHO.  Underrated sole design for the style of iron.  So smooth through the turf and soft at impact.  Could easily go back to them.  Probably will own another set at some point.

My son has had them in the bag since November of 20 and still loves them.  He won a individual state championship with them and now is getting ready to head off to play in college and the coach is Callaway fitter and just fit one of the current players into the XFCB during the fall.  I have been playing the Apex Pros but am planning on picking up a set of pre-owned.  The sole is so great and turf interaction is perfect.  Long and forgiving, and VERY consistent.

Oh yeah same here, I'm biased myself since I game them, but I recall seeing alot of comments about too much offset. I was being a facetious 😉.

They are excellent irons. Most surprising attribute to me: They’re sneaky long. The face plate design trims excess spin. Stronger carry than I expected but no loss of stopping power. I found many shots stopped within a foot or two of the ball mark.

Seeing the same thing. Switched from x-forged '18 to the x-forged CB and pick up a few yards of carry. Same shafts and specs.

Both XFCB and TCB have had an extended run in my bag, and for me the XFCB is unquestionably the better fit. Really hoping there is a refresh in the pipe later this year or early in '24.

Also same. I switched over from the Mavrik Pro, and those are all a club strong in lofts over the X Forged. I expected to see a distance drop as well when hitting the CB 7 iron versus the Mavrik Pro. But I actually kept the same distances. Could be the shaft combo too but I dig it.

played the XFCB with TT X7. Liked the club. But prefer a more compact look with less offset. So moved on. They felt great though

Anyone compare XF cb vs T100 ?

I played both for a little while last season.

T100 are more compact with a thinner top line.  Traditionally lofted with more spin.  Close to a blade in feel and turf interaction.  Their best feeling version of this release.  So solid!

XFCB feel fantastic!  Closer to zx7.  Very soft but a little springy.  A little easier to hit, for me.  Sole design is smaller than you would think with the size of the head.  A touch less spin, but still great launch.

Thanks a ton , struggling with T100 but also not playing or practicing enough. Also looking at 21 King Tour MIM which might be bigger than both!!!

King MIM is definitely the biggest of the three, XFCB in the middle and T100 is the smallest. Definitely more real estate with the MIM, and they feel good too. But I liked playing the XFCB more.

Still with XFCB? great turf interaction with XFCB?

Not playing them as I have been on a journey through Ping land, but the turf interaction is one of the XFCB’s best qualities. Very nice through the strike, not grabby at all. Soles have a smooth camber and are not thick.

X forged cb convert here.  I’m one who prefers the offset be in the short irons. Not the long. Finally a set does that again.  Older blade sets used to be that way.  For some reason a 4 iron with offset looks like a hook machine to me. But a 9 iron with a little just looks like home.

this set has some of the easiest to launch long irons I’ve ever hit.
