Got the XF 9* driver with the HZRDUS Yellow smoke a couple weeks ago and it is legit!  Soon after I ordered the 19* hybrid.  Things are selling out fast at those prices!

Everyone is getting Heroes pricing now.  Been that way since the middle of COVID.

PXG claims limited time sales, but the sale never ends. Anyone that gives them full price for a club in the future is a fool.

 

Some of their practices border on fraud. They claim the retail price on the 0211 is $195, but they are charging only $115. If they never charged anyone $195 per club, they should not be claiming it is the full price. Your ire aside, $135 for a brand new hybrid and $145 for a brand new fairway wood is a solid deal.

No different than cars at the dealership.  But MSRP and reality are 2 totally different things.

Fake pricing or not....the Gen 2 irons were down to $125 each a few days ago. One of the best deals Ive seen in golf equipment. 

 

Ordered: 

4-PW in 0311T gen 2

4-G in 0211 (new model) - more so to test out if I wanted a larger/forgiving set of irons, might get returned 

54,60 0311 Forged wedges 

13*, 21* fairways

17* hybrid 

 

Just picked up the irons/wedges. Waiting on the woods/hybrids.

Actually a lot different. Dealerships are not the manufacturer and are a different company. Ford sets the MSRP, not the dealer. By law, Ford does not own any of the dealers.

 

And PXG is not saying that $195 is its suggested retail price. It is saying that $195 is the price it would charge, but for the sale. Yet, has it ever charged anyone $195?

Does PXG own the place that makes their gear or do they contract out.  Second, you keep asking a question that you don't know the answer to as the basis of your argument...

Is there a real performance difference between the GEN 2 clubs and the 2021 0211 clubs?

While that’s true now, when the 0211’s dropped they were cheaper for the heroes. I checked them out and so did my buddy, he was jealous I could get the new 0211 woods cheaper.

PXG is quickly losing its high-end status with the pricing. Anyway 0311P gen2 irons are really really tempting....

Kudos to their marketing. They're still making money, but just sitfting through this thread, I see a lot more PXG's in golf bags. That's their point. And those are good prices, regardless if you're a fan or not.

Its the age old dilemma ...Shoiuld i get a  1.) Driver, FW woods and a hybrid or 2.) set of 0311T Gen2 irons or 3.)Milled wedge with shaft upgrade.

PXG is the manufacturer. That they might have someone else build the clubs for them does not make them like a Ford Dealer.

 

BMW uses a contractor to build some of its cars, but you would still consider BMW to be the manufacturer of the cars for setting MSRP.

They (2021 0211's) are only on sale in the US, so they did technically launch at $195 US in all other markets.  The original 0211's launched at $225.

 

 

The $145 fairway woods were on sale for $195 until Friday when they dropped them again.  Same w/ the Hybrids.  It's a recent price drop.  I texted my fitter and asked him to get me a 7 wood in the same specs as my 3 wood for ****s and giggles.  Might move it into the bag for my 3i once it gets here.

I really wanted to get two fairways but shipping was $60 dollars and tax was 25. Can't convince myself its still a good deal....decisions decisions....
