1 round in Phoenix/Scottsdale

I’ve been in Scottsdale for the weekend. Played 2 36 hole days at grayhawk. My damn flight got canceled cuz of all the snow in the Pacific Northwest. So bummer I have to stay in Arizona an extra two days instead of going back to the foot of snow at home.

So tomorrow I booked a wekopa cholla course, now I’m looking for where I should play Tuesday. Wekopa Saguaro doesn’t have any openings. 
I’ve been wanting to check out Papago and Quintero. 
Already played Troon and Boulders and TPC.

What’s the next best course I should play? Don’t really care about driving as long as I can be at the airport by around 6:00. 

Looking for suggestions, throw them at me.

2nd Verrado or Wickenburg, Gold Canyon would be another good option (Dinosaur Mtn).

Southern Dunes is my favorite round before the airport as it is on the right side of town, but hard to argue with Wickenburg Ranch, Quintero or Dinosaur Mountain.  Verrado would also be an easy trip to the airport (play Founders over Victory).

You guys that are saying wickenburg, is there two Wikenburg golf courses? One private?

I found a wickenburg ranch that I can’t find where to schedule tee times and I found another wickenburg that’s like 60$ green fees.

is that the right one?

Wickenburg Ranch is the one you want to play.

You cant go wrong at either. For the post card moment and your instafeed go Verrado Victory and take a picture on the 18 tee box.

Founders is the nicer of the two

As a PNW'er myself, I would not recommend Southern Dunes. When I'm in the desert I want to play desert golf. Quintero would be a good choice since you've played all the other courses.

Yeah, I played Quintero. 
sweet course. I think WeKoPa does a little something more for me, not to mention it’s a lot closer to where I typically stay.

I always try to squeeze a round in at Eagle Mountain too. Doesn't get much mention but I always have fun there.

Would you recommend tpc stadium or raptor grayhawk? We have time for one round.. and have only played tpc champion.

I like Grayhawk better but TPC experience is hard to beat. I’d probably go there.

Have you played the Stadium course before? If not I'd play there. It's not the best course in the area by a long shot, but it does have some memorable holes if you watch the Waste Management. 

 

Grayhawk is a better course, but it's not particularly memorable.
