Face balanced blade putters?

I'm a face balanced guy and want to tinker around with a blade.  Seems that most blades have significant toe hang.

 

I don't want a "double wide" style.  I want something slimmer like a Newport or an Odyssey #1.

 

I did some research on Scotties and it seems all of his blades have some toe hang for awhile now.  Apparently the Newport 2.7 from a decade ago was face balanced but I can't find one in good condition.

 

Any suggestions on face balanced blades I should look into?

PXG Brandon with the double bend neck OTR option. There is also the TaylorMade Juno and Soto Long neck but that's a custom option but I'm sure finding one used is possible. 

 

Not many options for a face balanced blade unless you go custom.

Anser X or any of the Ping #5 putters such as an Anser 5 or Zing 5 are possibilities.

I looked at the Brandon and apparently it's out of stock in RH.

 

Can you order the Juno or Soto in a single or double bend?  I don't see those options on the TM website when I try to custom.

You have to do the MyTP custom and it's a long plumbers neck not a double bend. 

 

Maybe also contact Piretti. They do a double bend and sometimes toss up some stock putters with a double bend neck. Maybe they can make one for you.

The Toulon Odyssey Chicago is not face balanced but it has minimal toe hang. Much less than most blades. 
 

It’s slightly wider than the Odyssey 1 or Newport but it’s by no means a double wide either. It’s a great looking blade that could give you what you’re looking for.

Check out Piretti putters...think they have a blade-like putter called “Matera” with a double bend shaft, making it faced balance.

John at Artisan built me a face balanced blade putter this year.  Titanium longneck 0920.  Take a look at a long neck blade.  I know John can make it face balanced.  I'm sure others can as well.

Cameron long neck Newports are very close to face balanced.

IF you talk to Kyle at Bastain Milled he has made face-balanced blades in his BM-007 head.

I’m in the same boat, very tough to find FB anser style putters. the newport 2.7s rarely ever pop up, I think the PXG double bend brandon look great but if i’m going to spend that much I’d want to be able to choose the alignment aid on it! The Ben Hogan BHB02 is slimmer than a square back style putter but a bit thicker than a typical anser. The Ping Anser X 1959 isn’t a bad option to pick up something cheaper while you look for “the one”

I recently purchased an MLA Defender putter. It is a blade, face balanced and has a look similar to the YES Dianna putter.

I have had good luck with Bettinardi - the Queen B 6 or 8 or the Studio Stock 28. 

 

Maybe they are too wide for you, but they have been great for me.

Was it strange using a long neck like that at first?

 

I'm so used to the single/double bend look when it comes to face balanced.

Pretty sure it's not face balanced though.  Close to it, but still has toe hang.

I almost pulled the trigger on an MLA a few months ago but decided against it.  I just don't think I could get used to their alignment thing.

What about the Bettinardi Studio Stock 7? I am waiting on mine to come in, but I think it might be a great middle ground for face balance.

I haven't had any problems with the change.  I am coming off of using a TM Rossa Monza Spider (double bend) since it was brand new, so a quite a few years.  I really like the way the Artisan sets up on the ball, and I don't miss the long alignment aid on the spider.

I just went on the PXG website and built a Brandon face balanced right handed for $275.
