I will add I tend to hit the ball a little flat to begin with but this seemed lower than normal.

These are available for pre-order.  I was ready to pull the trigger today, but the shaft options have me a little hesitant.  $90 for the old Aldila Rogue seems a tad excessive.  The Venus options (which is likely where I will land) brings this to a +$500 hybrid.

Phil's clearly says APEX on the bottom and is Bonded/Glued.

The version Phil is using appears to be a prototype of the Epic Super hybrid.  His is obviously a glued version, but aside from Apex vs. Epic and a few cosmetic differences on the sole, these appear to be the same club.  Purely an educated guess on my part.

My super hybrid is long, im talking very long. Even at 20 degrees it sometimes goes as far as my 3 wood and much easier to launch off the deck

I have the Super Hybrid and I am looking at this as well.  The Super hybrid is so easy to hit off the deck and I struggle at times with the 3 and 5 wood so it works wonders for me going into par 5’s in 2.  However it has created a bit of a gap for me and I’m hoping this new version might be the unicorn that fits all my needs.  I would not keep the stock Steelfiber and would replace it with a very nice Ventus Blue hybrid 10TX.  I think it would be such a beast.

I think this will be released eventually. Otherwise they would've shown it when Phil started using it like some of their other tour only option (e.g. Tour Utility, Mav McNealy Blades).

You were right.  Unless Phil just switched, he is still using the bonded version of the Epic Super Hybrid.  Maybe the prototype delivered two different versions?

What? These are two different clubs. There’s not a bonded version of Epic Super Hybrid.
