It would have been funny if she had worn a clear face shield.

Can they please start Q Series early? Atthaya belongs on the tour. I'd also throw Ayaka on that list.

Not only did Maria Fassi make the cut, she managed two nice rounds in the 60's on the weekend, and a solid T15 finish. That's her best finish in a major since the '19 USWO.

Can I borrow Lauren's borrowed putter? Lol.

No idea what got into Ariya over the weekend. 73 and 74 after an opening 67 and 63?

After coming close at last year's ANA, Brooke has basically been a non-factor in this year's majors. Her new putter didn't seem to make much of a difference.

I thought it was an excellent tournament. Great drama. Thankfully the weather cooperated, and the courses was in mostly decent shape. The GC crew kept gushing about the conditions, but the fairways did look a little wonky in spots. I still don't like the fact that they have sponsors invites at a major, and that the course is set up to allow low 60's on a regular basis. The 7th is a solid par 5. Have one reachable par 5. The five par 3s are tough.

Golf is complicated to analyze, but not for Brooke Henderson.

Year to date, Brooke is #48 on putts per GIR (1.81) even though she's #3 in GIR.  She hasn't capitalized on her excellent ballstriking with birdies or eagles like other good players.

On top of that, she ranks #33 (reverse order) in 3 putts with an average of 0.94 per round; which contributes to her #123 ranking of putts per round of 30.70.

She could've won every tournament if she were a Top-10 putter.

Not sure on stats.. but I put Lexi in same category.   She would also have won many more tournaments.

I see Brooke and Lexi try many different putters over the years.. Hopefully they will find the right one..

Is Beth Ann an authority on this? From her golfweek article:

"

Lee, who was chilling with friends while eating a nectarine by the practice putting green."

@Argonne69 jungle jimbo might be the better guesser after all - that assumes Beth did ask Minjee what she was munching on eg Beth isn't guessing either

Found the article, Linked below

Tina is so MEAN🤣.....no compassion, especially to Yealimi "$10000 Fine" Noh.

Classic Lydia....slow played Lucky 6 and Noh and got the group on the clock.....it worked out...Lucky 6 and Noh didn't win.

Hmmm...so Lydia's loop was watching her swing....so was this requested from Foley or is the caddie a good player trying to observe something?

They all seem age obsessed.  Another example is almost every time they mention Moriya Jutanugarn, they say "older sister"

They are also quick to mention how Lydia has gained 20 yards off the tee multiple times per telecast, sad thing is she hasn't.

GIR is one thing, but proximity to hole is also important.

Supposedly, Hogan was complaining about not making enough birdies and his wife suggested he try to hit the approach shots closer to the hole.  Golf is simple...🤣

And Lydia is also spraying it off the tee getting herself into trouble....short and wild is never good.

If not for Lydia's short game...she'd be playing the Symetra tour🤣

Expensive, but not for Lydia.

I imagine Tina took it out of Lydia's pay check.

It was a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rose....I believe it's a bit more expensive that the standard Veuve Clicquot.

One of my favs....I've always thought Veuve Clicquot is one of the best value champagnes.

Dumbo could only afford one of the complimentary bottles of Evian water.

What a stupid comment to make. If you take one part of every players game away they would all be on the Symetra tour! Lydia will be eligible to play the LPGA tour for many years to come win or lose on her past performances and all the world records she still holds and will probably hold for many years to come!

Nice. An eagle would have been great, but a major win it is. Great to see Minjee get a well deserved Champagne bath. What a comeback. Honestly, I didn't even think she would be in today's conversation. As Tom said, in style.

I disagree this was not a comeback. Minjee just hit another sold round and cashed in on a poor final round by Jeongeun Lee6 and a few others....but that's golf!

Durian! 😷🤢🤮

Edible ... that's a matter of individual preferance.  Aroma/scent is such an important factor in how things taste ... so for a good many people, they simply cannot get close enough to a piece of durian to pick it up let alone eat it!

When i visit my hometown, I stay at my dad's place, my aunt lived across the street and four houses down.  Every summer there would be a big summer BBQ at their place ... about 50 people and she would serve durian.  When she sliced it, I could smell from my dad's place!  Some of the guests would get away as far as possible from the patio and head over to another part of the garden! 🤣

That's because In Gee bought a second house in Lancaster, PA to go with her home in Dallas/FW !  😄

@Stooch and I have chatted about this on several occasions previously.  In order to be a "good" putter she needs to get away from her father as her coach (at least on the short game side of the equation).

As Harvey Penick used to say, if you want to be a great putter, hang out with great putters ... or something to that effect!
