I don't even know the accepted definition of "ball-striking".  But when I use the term for myself, it is simply making solid contact near the sweet spot.  It doesn't matter if the result is short or long, left or right.  If I am anywhere near the true definition, I want to know how you measure that?

Duval thought his back issues stemmed from a slip on rocks while fly fishing in Idaho. I don't know whether allowing his head to rotate toward the target would have helped or hurt his back issues.

 

I have had back issues at various times. Once a doctor told me my back pain was idiopathic; I thought he was calling me a pathetic idiot until he explained it meant the cause was unknown. As the years have gone by I think my interpretation was the correct one...

Sorenstam suffered from a neck injury in 2007 which was her penultimate year on tour.

 

Not sure if it was golf swing related or something else.

I thought it was d-bag Donny Donatello, but that show was full of them. The one goob Chad was from my area. He crashed a golf cart taking it the wrong way down a path and tried to blame the course 🤦🏼‍♂️

I was standing behind VJ when he hit that shot at the players! He was playing a practice round with Carlos Franco and Steve Flesch. There was a caddy pool that day on 17, all of the players put in money and closest to the pin that day by a caddie won the cash. This shot was with Flesch’s club from the caddy tee area (it was just to the right of normal the 17 tee box). After that shot, VJ went over to the normal tee on 17 and hit one right handed. After he hit it, he just looked up, twirled the club and started walking to the green. Ball came down inside a few feet. Unbelievable to see those shots back to back. I still have old footage I filmed of him on the range after that round. I’ve always been a VJ fan after that…
