2022 Scotty Cameron Phantom Lineup

Please excuse a non scotty expert, I had seen some dark finish putters out there that I thought were stock. Looking around at his site and trolling google there only seems to be a new phantom that may or may not be a public offering. 

So are they out there or just customs that will be very high priced like CT's?

I have the 2021 5.5 that I have not used much. I really like the look of the all black bottom plate, it looks like it’s the exact same dimensions and has the same screw placements as last year‘s version. I wonder if it’s possible to get a hold of the new 2022 version of the bottom plate? Anyone know if this is possible?

Just bought a 2021 5.5 a few weeks ago. I’m not disappointed that I didn’t wait for this release at all. It’s literally the same club. I actually prefer a flatter sole plate to help out with flattening out repaired ball marks.
 

The gray grip of the 2021 release is better looking and I actually prefer the all yellow headcover as well.
 

I’m sort of shocked there wasn’t more changed from the prior generation.

7.5 for me. Always loved the look of the Ody 7’s but was never an insert guy and need a little toe flow also. Tried the 7 and 7M but couldn’t get over the bar on the back. Like the idea of the sight line on top as well.

I’ve got a phantom X11 and x5, both 2021 versions. I usually rotate between the two. These new 2022 versions look identical, minus the hideous new headcovers, grips and those soles (what was Scotty thinking??)

 

looks like I’ll be sticking to what I’ve got…

I wonder if the reason for the change, is the fact that the New 2022 might not be Milled in USA?

Pre ordering is up on Titleist web site. Just purchased a 9.

Never preordered from Titleist. Do they usually ship the day they’re advertised to be in stock? Was originally thinking of using TGW.

 I am not sure. I usually use TGW as well. I will say when I ordered, it did say “in stock”. I will update accordingly.

Even though the X12 is aluminum, I've always loved the shape. Does anyone know if there are any differences between the original X12 and the 2022 version other than cosmetics? I watched the video and nothing is really called out other than the look. I'll just grab an older version and save some cash.

Another Golf shop that has great shipping is Carls Golfland in Michigan, and they ship 2nd day air for free. And they take PayPal

Sorry I didn’t clarify it well. I haven’t used TGW for a pre order. Just use them a lot for most of my purchases in general.

I pre ordered a 5.5 from PGA Superstore with ship to home option because its close and I can return/exchange if needed. Do they ship the 15th or ship prior with home delivery on the 15th? Either way, I'll be running around town on launch day to see who's got what in stock, try stuff out and may purchase something on launch day and return the pre order if it hasn't arrived by the 15th. Been using a Newport for 13 years and excited for a change, which I feel I really need.

The only difference I see in the 5.5 2021 & 2022 is that the 2022 does Not say Milled in USA, wonder if this is the reason for the big change.

Ordered X7 from local golfmart. Have X11 but prefer fang type putter but always felt x5 was a touch too small.

I heard they were sold out of 5.5's everywhere for pre order by now? 33 inches anyways? May have heard wrong tho...

 

I set my calendar and ordered when I woke up that morning. If Covid, politics, general state of world affairs has taught me anything, it's get it while you can... Still waiting to get my hands on another set of Z-Cord grips for my irons. Can't find them anywhere!

TGW website says they will ship on 4/15 if you pre-order.

Went to a local Edwin Watts today, they let me hit some putts with the new X7.5, even though it wasn’t on display or for sale yet…the 7.5 is absolute fire, looks amazing 🔥🔥🔥

 

As much as I love my X11, I might switch over once it’s released

It’s got to be amazing.. a Scotty #7??? What could be better in that head shape?
