Finally!!!!!

Been playing 42 years, so close, so many times. Had a hole in one on a bucket tournament, hit one in the water, holed out for par, but real deal last night, shot 72.

I usually get to Otter and Bos a few times a year, sometimes Adel.  Have been up to Newton a couple times this year, Albia, New Sharon, and hoping for another round at Des Moines GC , brother works there.

I’ve had two, and both back pins, so I didn’t see them go in either.   But still didn’t diminish the excitement 😬

When I hit mine, I jokingly said to my playing partner "that's in the hole".  When we got up there, there it was at the bottom of the cup.  Cool, but I'd still like to have one I see go in.
