Nice looking wedges. Bent 2 degrees strong (in the 52 and 56*)? To reduce bounce? If so, I thought he could have had that ground off.

 

That Big Tour 3w is a beast. 12.5*? Does he hit it off the deck? I doubt I could get it above waist height with that loft.

Cant be easy at a pro level to make so many changes so quickly... but glad he is getting the indian looked at now (heard he is heading back to Butch) as well as the arrows...

Those King Forged irons are gorgeous.  They remind me a little bit of the Fly-Z+ Forged irons, which at the time were incredible sleepers that got almost no attention, but were one of the best irons of that time. I am looking forward to trying them out when they get released.

Looking at the top line of those irons, the might suit the eye of Rickie but they definitely won't suit the eye of 95% of WRX'rs 😂

I was thinking the same thing when I saw them.  I had the Fly Z+ Forged irons and loved them.  The only reason I replaced them was because I won some PTx Pros here on WRX.  I'd have no issues playing these Cobras either...although it would be tough to replace my ZX7s.  A lot of great stuff out there from these companies.

That's being a little dramatic 😂. Top line looks similar to i210 or zx7, but with less offset🤷‍♂️

The tour he doesn't qualify for to play on anymore.. I was honestly surprised he was not poached for the LIV tour, seemed like a perfect match.

Oh he did, sorry I missed that, so he secured the card for 2023?

 

I was under the impression he needed some sponsors exemptions to get into some tournaments.

 

I have not watched PGA tour that much since LIV started, I did watch the back nine of the FedEx final.

pretty sure for next season he can use his top 25/50 career money exemption too, he's got a few years left

Ah yeah thats fair enough, and to be fair he scraped in right on the bubble 🙂 think he got 125 spot and finished 123, so has his card. Like this last season there he will need sponsors exemptions to get into the bigger events like memorial, bay hill etc but theres a few other big events he isnt exempt for at all so he will need to play more lesser events to get a better card for the year after.

Keep in mind stock would be 33 degree 7 and he plays weak irons so offset is bent out. Off the shelf they would look a bit different. Great looking sticks. I hit the MIMs outdoors and they were nice.  Very forgiving.

topline may be a "bit" chunky...but have to say shapes at address and soles look great to me.

I like it.  Back to a 5 wood, more forgiving irons.  I hope he gets some confidence up with these changes, he's good for the game and fun to watch.  My son was so sad he couldn't follow him at The Travelers this year...  Fingers crossed!
