I’m doubting T irons are even coming. Why release those alone later in the summer? That doesn’t make any sense. They would’ve released them with the Gen 6 if they were coming.

Release the “Ts” at a later date so that all the people who bought the “Ps” will upgrade.

This has never been a strategy of theirs in the past. The T is quite a different iron all together than the P in previous generations. Until I see a picture of a Gen 6 T iron, I’m calling BS.

We will see.  I’m definitely holding off on any new iron purchases until I see what happens here.  Never been a “P” model fan so waiting it out is easy for me.

Yes, the P is a Players Distance iron while the T is a Player iron....2* difference in lofts.  (I have both types of irons for varying course/weather conditions where I play)

It appears that the T model will become a 0317 category iron in some form.  Maybe long/mid irons with the hollow approach while the short irons are CB or MB type.

Will be interesting to see what comes out.

So something like Cobra? 0317 MB, CB, and Tour?

Initially, I would have bet on the CB being the 0317T, alongside the existing 0317ST.

I was obviously wrong, and this is why I do not gamble.

The 0317 irons line will consist of a blade (ST), muscle back (T) and a cavity back (CB). From what I'm being told, the T we'll also include the goo, while the ST & CB will not.

I would absolutely love for there to be a gooey 3 and 4 iron to go with my planned 5-7 CB, 8-W ST and wedges from, err, Vokey.

If they stop making those full-face monstrosity wedges I’ll go all in on PXG.

I get it, some don't like the full face...But PXG wedges are very very good...Sugar Daddy wedges are better than Vokeys IMO...I just wish they had more grind options like their prior generation wedges...Heard that wish may get answered, just not sure when...

Will new sugar daddy wedges with additional grinds be released later this year as well?

Interesting article about the PXG launches in this month’s Todays Golfer (UK) magazine.

In discussing the (as they put it) ‘Gen’ models, it says that the T model has been “dropped from the family” as there are “new ideas coming for more tour-focused golfers later this year”. Interpret that how you will. How much later this year? How many ideas? So, 0317CB and presumably 0317T with the goo?

I’m never getting a new set of irons at this rate. I’ll wait for the PXG stuff, then the Titleist tour seeding will start, then the same for Mizuno Pro. Maybe I’ll just get them for Christmas.

Yeah, has to be some sort of “goo” filled tour iron with a super clean look. They already have the ST MBs and CBs so it only makes sense.  If that’s the case, go ahead and sign me up.

A T with the single weight clean look like the ST would be awesome.

Confirmed, (again) no T irons in the pipeline and the CBs are set to replace them altogether in the lineup.

LOL, we'll see...T's not scheduled to be released until late summer time frame which is late August early September...The CB will be released within the next month, demo heads in stores now, of course they'll deny the existence of the T line so people will jump on the CBs...

Saw the CBs,  very nice and easy to hit. Going on sale soon, but as stated no pricing yet. Asked about the “t” line and the rep had not heard, but felt if they do release them it would be in the fall. I asked if they were going to slow releases and he had no idea. Personally I’d like them to hold off on replacing the gen lines f or a 12-18 month cycle.

Any more/less forgiving than the P? What did you notice when hitting them?
