Yup. I first received the 4, 6, 9, and W on release day, then the 7 and 8 last week. Still waiting on the 5 iron. Tour Issue x100 5 iron shaft holding up the final piece. At least I’m getting some of the set, ha!

I’ve seen similar issues with dg 120 x100 and modus 120x

Pingman thoroughly screwed the supply chain pooch during covid.  Hope that they are not botching another rollout.  I230 launch seemed smooth.

What about lofts? Seem pretty strong for players iron and assume most pros playing get them bent to retro or reduced lofts. Seems crazy that they’d have to bend majority of orders since also affects bounce.  Are WRX people ordering standard lofts adjusting?

So Im purchasing 5-PW in power spec.  What are everyone's wedge set up with power spec irons?  Im thinking of getting a S159 in 48 degree and having it bent to 49 degree since my PW will be 44.5.

Just got notification that something shipped today. Idk what but the change to modus 105x may have been the ticket.

No issues with the build..Just like i230 there are some “tricks” to get BPS to work right with BB&F but there are plenty of other posts about Ping irons and BB&F. No tip weights. Can you tell me what the trick is? Is it a brass shim or cutting the tips of the ping ferrules.

Just got off the phone with Ping customer service.  They say that DG 120 X100 shafts are on back order until the end of March and irons will ship out in April sometime.  Pretty disappointing to say the least.

Interesting. My fitter just reached out and let me know the 6 iron shafts for DG 120 X100 are back ordered but expected to be in on 2/26. I’ll keep the thread updated as to when mine end up shipping.

Whenever my brother and I reshafted ping irons with bbf ferrules, we would cut the collared part of a ping ferrule to help set the shaft and then put bbf on and normally never had any issues. Not sure if that is the “professional” way of doing it tho.

I think 50-54-58 can still work. Maybe bend the 50 to 49.

Chingos of shafting beads too.
 

Did this with vokey wedges. 2/3 were solid, 1 unfortunate had a slight vibration noise when bouncing off the grip. I want to do my blueprints eventually but no reason to take them apart right now. Ping built them really well.

FWIW mine were regular X100s and had no issues, showed up in 9 days.

I ordered mine with the Modus3 105X shafts, and they arrived at my door 9 days after I ordered them. Two days of that was in transit with Fedex, but I'd imagine your shipping will take longer if you are in the UK.

Jam Golf have confirmed irons will be with them next week and then with me the day after. Ping in UK are very good and no issues with couriers here

I put my order in this morning. BPS 7-PW and I230 5-6. Black dot, Modus 120x, and Power Spec lofts.

Received the 5 iron today only to find out that they built it with a soft stepped 4 iron shaft. It’s noted on the build tag, too. Waiting to hear back from my rep on what might have happened.

Snapped this picture of demo irons. i230 left, BPS right. i230 says I'm easy, BPS says yeah but I'm better looking. The chrome on the back is a little off putting to me and it just seems a bit busy in its design for a players iron, from the back. Really good looking from address though. Ever so slightly thicker topline than T100 to my eye.
