2024 Footjoy shoes, some surprise changes?

Looks like more significant changes that expected in 2024 from footjoy, ProSl models all appear to be replaces by proslx range, some new colourways in packards, and field. New fuel model etc. quite. Quite a change if standard prosl is gone, but it adds up as they have been on sale with big reductions in all stores in Europe this summer.

Thanks for posting that.

 I just wish they’d make a shoe shaped less like a dress shoe and more like an actual foot.  I don’t know about anyone else but my big toe is not in the middle.

 

This gripe of course applies to many brands.  But I feel FJ has become the worst offender.

I love the new premiers and have multiple pairs but would really like to see a traditional saddle design like the icons or dry joy tour.  The tradition look just doesn’t cut it for me

Confirmed via a chat session with FJ that there will be a black, spiked Field in the September update.

I am the same. I like the traditional golf shoe look but I need somewhere for my toes to go. I, for one, do not have a pointy shaped foot.

Yes, and a navy (not black!) soled one in January

Any changes to the last? Got some Myjoys this year and went with the 1/2 size smaller (8.5) and Wide after sample testing my size in FJ forever 9M. @Copacetic excellent news on the black sole, main reason I went with Myjoys.

I actually got that wrong, looks like it’s a dark navy sole!

I’m more than a little surprised if they are making that big of change to the entire Pro SL line and not keeping something a little more in line with the previous generations. I can see the SLX being the sporty cousin to the stock SL, but I think its a mistake if they drop the SL line as we’ve known it.

I just hope they go back to the fit of the older lasts. The new fit of the Premiers and SLs has been WAY off from the former models.

Exactly, they screws up the fit of their lasts this past year. Hopefully they go back to their former fit.

No doubt, besides the sizing being off they tried to fix something that wasn’t broke.

All they need to do is bring the Dryjoy Tours back as a myjoy option and problem solved.

Same shoes these days are awful, no ones foot comes to a sharp point. 

 

I swear I think I can finally feel my big toe after 3 months of it being numb playing 54 holes in 2 days in some Premiers. Haven't worn them since.

Had been wearing ProSLs for a few years - but didn't last two rounds in the Tour Alphas. Thought the heel-surround - whatever you call that - was built up way too high, it was just the absolute most uncomfortable thing I've ever worn. Switched over to the Adidas ZG23 soon thereafter but I'd go back to FJ in a second if these are better.

The Traditons seem to have a fairly wide forefoot. For me, they are a comfortable fit.

Man, as a huge Pro SL Carbon fan, looks like I am going to need to buy a couple additional pairs of the current version because that SLX looks awful/overly-sporty for me.

The black one with the black sole looks halfway decent. But I already have two pairs on the shelf...and I'm currently wearing Adidas LOL, my wife might kill me if another pair shows up.
