I put my black pair away for the summer, and wear the others all summer long. I don’t have any golf shoes that aren’t Premiers.

Can anyone here speak to a fit difference in the Fields and Wilcox? I've found the 10M in the Fields is the perfect fit, but a 10M Wilcox I tried on at PGASS seemed a little snugger through the toe.

I think that is a fair assessment, Field a little more room than Wilcox. In my opinion the Wilcox doesnt seem to fit as tight as the tarlow, but that could just be me. The fields do seem to offer a little more room. I wore this years Metalwood collab last week for the first time and they felt great, but those are the Field LX. I think the pair of fields I have and the field LX fit slightly different, but thats probably just in my head.

The Fields are definitely wider than the Wilcox, but still are a full width more narrow than what they are marked. Essentially the M fit more like narrow, the W fit more like regular, and the XW fit more like wide.

Just got my new pro slx carbons.  I was very skeptical given I played the sport version last year, but I have to say these were SO comfortable when I put them on and still felt light!  I’ll be traveling south next week so I’ll get to test them outside (too much snow up north here). Also a bit skeptical about the lack of spiking on the middle of the footprint so curious how it performs with high speed swings.

Curious to hear how these pro SLX carbons are working out for you.  I have been wearing the Pro SL Carbons for a few years so will likely try the SLX at some point soon.

I tried the pro SLX carbons for one round and returned them.  In my opinion last year's Pro SL carbons are far superior.  I liked the low profile of the older model and just didn't like the feel of the new ones I wish they didn't change it so much.  Luckily last years models are on sale for $99 all over the place so I picked up two pairs for the price of the new SLX.

Funny I bought an extra pair of SL Carbons also, probably should buy another.  I bought the new SLX's but haven't taken them out yet.  They definitely don't feel quite as comfortable out of the box but I'm going to withhold judgement until I break them in and walk a few rounds.  The heel feels a little iffy.

I just got my custom Packards today.  I will absolutely be wearing them with shorts.
Question for the experienced: do you condition the insides?

I've always worn mine with shorts. I've honestly never had second thoughts about. Wear the classics I have with shorts as well. I've tried to wear a "sporty" looking shoe but just not my thing

Smaller than what? Past pairs of FJs, or other shoes? I have to go DOWN a half size in FJ -- and even then, the half size down is still "roomy" in the length.

It sounds like you need a wide size. but the length thing doesn't sound right to me at all (like you got a pair that weren't sized correctly).

Compared to other FJ's I've worn over the past 4 years.. All my shoes are W and these are the first ones that were so narrow. I did notice that last years TourA's were also narrower than the previous years TourX...

Obviously a change in their fitment.

What's the consensus with wearing premieres with joggers? I've seen some wear that combo and it doesn't look bad, IMO. However, I'm not sure I could pull it off.

While I don't wear joggers, I think a tapered pant leg would work well with premieres...

I picked up a pair of Traditions last week, love them so far. They are much more comfortable than I thought they would be and they look great. But I guess I will give a better review when I've walked more in them.

I love the old ProSLs but when the nubs start to wear down thats it, nothing you can do, so I've stuck to cleats from here on out.

So in my regular rotation I'm down to Adidas ZG23s, the Carbon ProSLs and now these.

The traditions bluchers (black with white bottom) have been my go-to so far this year as we're still in the soggy spring season. They are light, comfortable and roomy in the toe box. My only complaint is that they are a little soft/unstructured in the sole. I prefer how my premiere's have a bit stiffer, solid, sole.

Wondering if anyone has had experience with Traditions spikeless.  Haven't been in a FJ shoe in a bit so wondering how these are vs the Premieres.  Is it better to just spend up for the Premieres?

FJ has switch to the new “triangle” last….. very narrow toe boxes.

Crazy... they are dramatically different in size..

Essentially the new shoes are 1/2 size larger in length, and one full width more narrow. So a new Premier in 9 W will have the same fit as a 9.5 M in older DryJoys.

This is not my experience. I find the width to be truer than in years past.

With the Premier, has anyone else found the heel of the shoe to fit somewhat sloppy? I've tried several styles and sizes and so far I haven't found one that the heel has a snug fit. I wear 10.5 in the G4 Gallivanter and it's the perfect fit. The only issue I have with the G4 is the lack of durability.
