Id say you right, love the option though on buying a full milled face in the Garage No2 T2? Not fussed on any putter insert. The Toulon milled face was unreal

I highly doubt it.  It’s been years since they had a #9 in the lineup.

Doesn't get more Callaway than this. "AI" design putters in a bunch of classic shapes, removable weights in the sole, and a milled face insert. Revolutionary. Their "super computer" knocked it outta the park.

You're right about some of this....it doesn't get more Callaway than this, and the Marketing is maybe revolutionary, but still just putters and it's all been done before, or is being done now by other's.  Callaway has now moved "over the line" and naming all of their new clubs "AI" which again is really just cheesy marketing.  If it's designed by AI, than what is Callaway needed for??  LOL

Well my question to you would be what part about a copper milled face insert feels "ai" designed? It's been done before and will be done again. 

 

When I think of putter tech someone could at least argue is something along those lines, I think of a sik putter face, a lie angle balanced putter, those wild looking 3d printed Cobra putters. These just look like odyssey putters with a copper insert and a lame marketing name. 

 

Just my opinion. If you like them that's fine. I've just always been one that feels the more ridiculous the marketing, the less I trust the product. Good products sell themselves, marketing sells the rest.

No one knows since Callaway hasn't released any details about them yet. 

 

You're basing this off what they "look like" and no actual details.

 

These pre release threads are always full of people making assumptions based on no real info and just want to be negative all the time.

Plus I need to be careful what I say in regards to this matter anyway. I don't want to give ai too many reasons to kill me first when it makes its move to take over the world.

Cause seeing companies use AI as a marketing term when they're either just computation models or large language models is cringe.

LLM's are considered a form of AI so no you are not wrong.  Deep machine learning and computation can result in AI.   Maybe Callaway will get to the singularity before Open AI 😆

I’m assuming that much like modern driver faces these new putter inserts are thinner and thicker in certain areas to help with putt misses

Found these from Asian website, seven t looks much smaller than non milled 7, makes me wonder is the full head actually all milled? Really liking the tri-hot this year, if it’s fully milled I assume there is some forgiveness hit

Bummer. That's frustrating. Odyssey has had some great putter shapes lately that they've only made available for right-handers. Obviously they know their sales numbers and I don't, but I find some of their recent decisions on what to make for lefties vs. what to skip a little surprising.

 

Only #7 shape with a plumber's neck that I can find in lefty are the TaylorMade TP Reserve M21 and the PXG Battle Ready II Bat Attack. Guess I'll be going with one of those.
