I always struggle with the head shape of cobra woods which hasn’t looked right since the King Cobra days to my eye.

I do miss the CNC milled face like my Speedzone.

I haven’t tried the newer models, and I’m guessing the new face performs better. But one thing I LOVE about my LTDX is that every strike leaves a ball print of some sort (that can just be wiped off), so you always know exactly where you made contact. No need for impact tape or foot spray at all

You will not be disappointed! I love my AJ, but this is long and super forgiving! The forgiveness is what really stands out and I gained distance.  It seems to be an hair more muted as well. Only one round down, but it’s in the bag over AJ. I will keep AJ as backup, but don’t  hesitate on the DS.

Dang, that looks fantastic and that headcover is slappin' too!!! I love my LTDx but I believe I have some Darkness in my future!! lol

Hmmm good catch.  It could be the angle of the picture.  That is the draw-biased Max version.  The pictures on page 1 of the LS and X have the C dead center.

Looks much better, not as triangular as most of their models.

That head needs a higher swing speed, I just don’t even try the LS heads anymore. I have one I think. A couple LS AJ’s.

I think im starting to realize this also but have found that if you loft up vs lofting down in a max driver... it helps with the ls drivers. I think its possible ls drivers are just cranked down but labeled a "10" degree when really its a 8 or 9.. so if you crank up a degree or two now ur back to a max normal 10 or whatever you prefer your stock degree for your driver. Idk just my thoughts and what ive experienced.
