Cobra used to lead the pack in shaft options.  Lately, they have taken a back seat: one MCA option (Kai'Li) and no option for tipping online.  I hope the Darkspeed steps up the shaft game.

They’re going for Xtreme aerodynamics on that head. Everything is more rounded, more compact

I don't love this trend of making only the low spin version crown clean while putting useless graphics on the rest of line.  Callaway did it with the 3D versions, and it looks like the Cobra is doing the same here.

Hard to imagine there will be a better looking driver next year.

 

But I find it hard to believe it was be better performing than the Paradym TD. That thing is a misle and forgiving.

I 100% agree. I don’t get it. Do the OEMs think only high-speed, high-spin players like clean-looking heads?

Yeah. I’ve held both the 8 and the 9. They are completely different shapes. 9 still looks great

I especially like the smooth transition and falloff on the crown of the LS. I don't hate the subtle framing lines on the other, but the LS style helps give it that lovely compact look at address. That plus the deep face is just superb.

At least they are still black here, and subtle. Imagine if they were neon blue.

winter testing is gonna be fun this year boys. Never considered a cobra until now, man this thing is a beauty. Rickie played it in the netflix cup. Looked great on tv too

I'm with you on the ltdx. I have tried a tour issue aerojet with a lot of Different shafts. The ltdx with the hzrdz blue glossy 6.5 is the best driver in every way possible. I have to play with one length irons with upright lie angles and big grips so my back doesn't hurt. It has been so fun yet so frustrating to play the game a different way. I am one day of catching lightning in a bottle in a pre qualifier and then I'll take my chances on Monday. Thank you for letting me share my love for the game.

Am I the only one that think this might look awesome in white too? Could call it "Light Speed" and keep the subtle gray shading on the crown so it's not WHITE white, and maybe add some royal blue to the bullseye lines on the face. 

 

On second thought, please don't make it Cobra. My current driver is... fine.

Cobra usually brings out a few colors, i.e., Palm Tree majors, etc.  White could be appealing. 

 

The all-black LS did not stand out on Netflix last night in Rickie's bag.
