Is the 8* head a different shape? As previously mentioned somewhere in here. 

It is the LS head. So it is more compact. It had a USY Mamyia Lin-Q M40X F5 shaft in it.

Being it is smaller front to back usually equates to face being deeper but you say the face is smaller? Aerojet didnt really have the deepest face to begin with. Does it mean it could be 440cc?

Same here. Epic Flash SZ is the longest driver I've ever owned. By a big margin. Bomb after bomb after bomb. But boy, if you miss the sweet spot, the ball leaves the planet.

Ditto. That (and the sound) are why I got rid of it and every time I badly miss a fairway with a more forgiving club I wonder if I should be badly missing fairways with my old EFSZ instead. At the same time, I’m also wondering whether it’s ear shattering impact sound made it feel like it was longer and more explosive than it actually was.

I ended up in a std paradym with the 2x trade a few months ago. Hit every fairway for the 1st time that I can recall...ever. And it's not short.  Slightly slower than stealth2+ but launches higher with same spin.

It's appears to be the same height vertically, just smaller horizontally.

That Darkspeed looks awesome. I just bought an ltdx driver (pd $300) since I have the same as a 3 wood and it's the best 3 wood I've ever hit.

Any idea what time specifically? Usually I wake up to a bunch of youtube videos from European guys on embargo days but no such joy today.

 

Edit: it's after Noon EST and I haven't seen a thing, pretty sure this means the embargo isn't ending today. Maybe tomorrow, or next week with the rest.

I've yet to watch a video on these but I will. I was talking to a fitter at a private club who had these and said the ball speed on them is just insane, definitely a driver and wood everyone should look at.

 

I'm definitely going to, will see if I go back to back Cobra drivers.

The YouTube reviews so far have been predictable.

 

Of course Shiels would gloat about calling for three weights on the LS model, but never actually hit it with the heavy weight in the back. He just likes the option. 

 

Finch will say he loves the Cobra brand, then proceed to tell you the driver sucks because it's not Taylormade or Ping. 

 

Crossfield will tell you every driver is good...why not get the cheapest one.
