Ventus is so successful they don't need to try re-invent the wheel especially with TR filling in the gaps, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

 

It's been 5-6 years since the OG launch and so a tune up of the already great tech is a good move.

I might have to try this. We have a fund at work I can use for "wellness" which includes sports equipment to stay healthy, last year I used it to get a nice scotty x 5.5, this year I think might be new driver year. I was planning on keeping my current GD VF 6X, but I might have to test this with my additional "sports" funds.

So faster with tighter dispersion from the fuji rep on the youtube video. I would have liked to see avg. Total Numbers vs the two best shots from the og and +.

I just thought about while seeing another thread with another post about how the name is lame. Do people complain this much Toyota comes out a New Camry, not Camry + or Camry AI, just Camry for the last 41 years

I’m definitely ordering two of these — one for driver, one for 3W. Any tips on which authorized dealers typically get shafts out quickest at launch? Probably going to go with @Peoples Golf as usual!

From that review I gain zero trust of a “ballspeed” gain even tho the shot selection shows what 2.2mph for 3yards of carry? Legit the same numbers & ball speed would average out over time. I need to see some more reviews to consider paying for this for purely performance vs my og blue.

This would be typically aimed at someone in a blue profile that doesn't currently play a Blue.  I don't know how this is really going to make any big enough jumps to notice a legit difference between the who, likely wont.

 

But this isn't about that.  It's about they know golf nuts will buy it (We Will) regardless, and then just have the new crowd go straight into this instead of OG.

We are talking about a refresh of arguably the most successful and best selling shaft in history.  If they can eke out a few more yards and keep it virtually the same everywhere else then kudos to @Fujikura Golf.  Another successful line; Tensei White, AV Raw White, Pro White, Tensei 1K White, are all slightly different and as the materials and manufacturing improved so did the shaft.  Not many Pro Whites are gamed these days, bc 1K felt that much better.  Hoping this release proves to be similar.

 

 I wonder when the other 2 will drop and if they will eventually stop producing the OG line.

When you get them, let me know how it is vs your TR. I’m really liking my TR but if I can get more ball speed but keep feel the same yet tighten dispersion even more I’m all in!

I find it a little weird that True Spec or Fuji wanted to roll out that review video. Watching that guy spray it all over the yard with 2700+ spin didn't get me excited. The ball speed gain is worthless without seeing if the clubhead speed was constant.

Plus if you zoom in the dispersion circle was tighter for the OG blue lol.
