I wonder if 2025 will see optical alignment aids on the face of drivers as a custom option at retail

 

seems like more and more pros are using some sort of line on the face to help frame the ball better

ive been thinking about a TSR2 to replace my Stealth. But cant decide between TSR2 and TSR3...

this may have helped solidify the TSR2

It definitely is, he's just been tinkering a lot. I do want to see JT get his game back, it's fun to watch when he's on.

Just kicked a stealth2 out for a tsr2. Night and day. I had a tsr3 first. More demanding for sure. The tsr2 though is a 10. Just thought it could be a touch quieter or lower pitched.

People who play the TSR2 absolutely love it.  I tried it and it didn't work for me, I usually hit lower spin driver headstyles better.  Cool to see.

Ludwig Aberg uses a TSR2 so capture some of that magic and JT will be golden.

 

JT is 7th in SG Approach so his approach game is there.

 

I still think putting is what fails him week in week out.

I think he's in b/c of his ranking in the AON Next 10.  Or whatever it's called.

Got fitted for the tsr2 right off the bat and was always a little surprised to see virtually all pros opt for the 3. Kind of funny to see the 2 start picking up a little steam now like 1.5 yrs later. Hope he finds some success w it

He basically admitted that he is going at it harder as the head makes him feel more confident..

I actually just switched to this from a TSi3. Hot melting it today. Have a 6 gram weight back and putting 6 grams toward the toe. I play it at 44.5" for those that want to question me due to SW

I know he's been a diva as he has not be in great form of late, but that confidence and ego of his needs a lot more positive thinking from himself and his team around him. Maybe Bones was tired of playing with someone who whines so much. (Admittedly if i was playing for that much and knew i had his talent, I'd get frustrated too....) The mental side of things i feel like is the biggest thing. Hoping he starts smashing it again.

Looks like he played solid in R1. Missed an 8 footer on the last to get to -4 though. I feel like he would have been a couple of shots better with a round like this in 2019. 2 shots better a day really gets you up there. Lets see if he can shoot 4 solid rounds
