Best thing I ever got from this thread were those V grind wedges. I got the 54 and 58 oil can with DG spinner shafts. Can hit the 58° full about 105 and the 54°full about 115.

They skip effortlessly when chipping off tight lies, but can dig when needed.

Highly recommend!! Thanks man

Question regarding your stable of putters - specifically the Anser-ish models. Have you noticed any practical difference in the various neck configurations (e.g., offset, length, etc)? Or, do you find it is primarily an aesthetic issue?

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a DH89 next week and currently waffling some on the neck configurations.

Of all the 009's I have I rarely will buy two that are identical. If they have the same neck, they will have a different site aid. Right now I have a standard neck, mid neck, long neck, and flo-slant neck. They all frame the ball slightly different and have different amounts of toe hang. My stroke from my fitting there tends to be decent so I can use any of them, I just go with what looks the best to me at the time. I rarely practice, almost never due to family, job, kid etc.. so when I can golf, I always play vs. practice.

re: DH89.. Byron can make some of the coolest necks around. I have the long pipe neck in mine and love it. Only thing to notice is the long pipe necks he has are heavy, which is good, but puts a little more weight in the heel.. not a bad thing, just something to note. I'd go with one of the version of his "pipe" necks.. mid and long pipe are great and look cool - he can customize the amount of offset as well.

I may have missed it somewhere, but where do you split your set from MB to CB? I’m still playing the 716 MB’s but recently picked up 4-6 in the CB for a little extra help in the long irons. I’m just trying to decide which way to go for the 6 iron.

PS - nice looking wedges!

Mods, please move this to the "What's On My Wall" section.

The What's In The Bag section doesn't need to be cluttered with things like this.

Wow...so the next time people tell me I have a problem when they enter my "golf room", I can reference this thread and show them I'm on the lower end of the spectrum. The Scotties and wall mounted collection are a thing of beauty.

Thanks brother.. it's been a while since I've seen you post! :drinks:

First time I've looked at this thread since 2012. Thanks for making me feel even more inadequate. I'll be back here in another 6 years once I start feeling good about myself just to give myself a big slice of humble pie.

Lol, stop it.. good seeing you on WRX as well! :drinks:

I only come to this site to look at Tai's WITB.

Vokey and Mizuno have had a love child....?

As nice as the new wedges look, the 718MB in your set caught my eye. does it have a custom grind, or is it a trick of the lighting? The relief on the back of the sole looks different from the standard offering.

Also, no pool in the background this time??? :taunt:

Hey Tai! Enjoyed the instagram feed this weekend, looked like a blast!

How did you like the G Fores? Thinking about picking some up.

Thanks man! At least I threw out the disclaimer.. borderline obnoxious golf pics for my friends who don't know about the golf craze  GFores are legit, little flat on the sole and pick up dirt like crazy but look cool and are comfy. I have a lot of Nike's coming in too, the new LC2 or whatever it's called is $$$. Finally Nike stepping their game up.

Tai, bag is just crazy good.

Any thoughts on how the LZ 6.5's h/s are in comparison to the other iron shafts you've played and why you made the switch??

Speaking of the Nike's, how are those blue LC2's holding up? I've almost pulled the trigger on a pair 3 or 4 times now.

Also, how are you liking the PX LZ in your wedges? I've been playing them in my irons for two seasons now and love them (hardstepped in my TM's after reading your experience and having similiar thoughts/issues) but I've been a long time DGTI S400 user in my wedges. I'm considering going PX LZ in the MG Raw I just picked up, but hesitating a little on installing something new there.
