How does Jason Dufner mark his Titleist (and with what)

I've tried that a few times... if my ball followed the line I drew it'd end up changing directions 15 times..... or more

More than likely, it's a coupling for 1 1/4" schedule 40 PVC pipe. That will have an opening of 1.66" which should accomodate the thickness of the Sharpie tip.

Made a stop at home depot on my way home from class, picked up some non-threaded 1-1/4in pvc fittings and they fit/work excellent!

Given that tour pros get literally EVERYTHING golf related for free from sponsors and tournaments, I'm personally surprised he wasted the $.19 on the PVC.

Went to lowes out of boredom. This is what I bought: 1 1/4" coupling, 1 1/2" coupling, and stainless steel clamp. I am assuming what Duf has is the 1 1/4" coupling as the ball just falls through 1 1/2" coupling. Seems like 1 3/8" would be perfect, but I dont think it exists. The clamp might give the best results. Grand total for all 3 was $3.40. Pictures:

Smart, but now there will be some shortage of 1.5" pvc pipes. Remember when driveway marker sticks were all the rage? Next great thing will be Cameron PVC ball markers with hand stamped dancing letters. ?

Actually just depends on how you Mark your ball. I put a plus symbol on mine so this wouldn't work well but for ur average line it works great plus I believe that is tour issue PVC

 

J- it would work perfectly well for you, to make + mark on ball just spin ball after 1st line is made to set up perpendicular to said line wa la, pic tour issue + sign marker! :taunt:

How long before Scotty Cameron comes out with a Circle T PVC hand milled super duper ball liner upper? It will sell for $350 on Scotty Cameron.com, but if you miss out, you can get it on eBay for $600 or on BST for $450. Not sure when the hot melt version will come out, but rumor is we will see it at Augusta.
