Who Is The Best Golf Clothing Manufacturer?

Ok, just seeing as to what is popular amongst the masses. It would be based on these conditions:

1) Quality of material/design

2) Style

I personally prefer Aureus Dri- whatever. Finds it keeps moisture away from the body better than any other. In terms of "sharpness" I think Lindeberg would probably be the best, followed Hugo. I also like Callaway pants. Lets hear what you guys like to be seen in!

I have been wearing RL Polo since I was 18 years old, I am now 39. I still have clothes that I bought back then, (they don't quite fit anymore), but they are still in great shape.

 

I also like Ashworth, Fidra, and Adidas.

POLO golf is basically my entire golf wardrobe.....its well made lasts a long time and always looks good....nice classic look....I also have some JL but not much......I have to admit that the new Nike TW collection pants for the fall are very nice and might get a couple pair......they are a nice heavy weight for when it starts getting cooler up here In Pennslvania. O and they look real sharp some plaid stripes and checks...very nice :clapping:

Hi, I'm new to the boards.

My favourite is Lindeberg by far. I think they have the best style and cuts. Pricey however. Boss has some nice stuff. I've also been wearing nice shirts by an Australian company called Turtle Creek. Nice and very affordable.

I just check their website. I wish they shipped on my side of the Atlantic. From the pictures I'm seeing, I like it a lot. Their raingear is amazing, so are a few shirts and a few pants.

 

Anybody know in what pricerange they are ?

Got mostly adidas in my wardrobe although I do have a lot of Ashworth and Polo. Polo stuff is great quality but the styling is great on Adidas stuff. My local pro is going to be stocking Lindeberg so I might have to get some of that.

Does anyone have experience with Dunning golf? Gofltown really pushes them here. They are around the $100 price point. Nice material though...

Me to. I have been wearing the Pony for twenty years. Their the only golf shirts I own.

3. J. Lindeberg (don't like his pink and purple colors though - they are kind of gayish looking - no offense)

4. Nike (great all round collection)

I'm a polo shirt junkie - I own at least 50 Ralph Lauren polo shirts, 25 Lacoste, 25 Nike, 10 J Lindeberg, 20 Fred Perry and 10 Robe Di Cappa :cheesy: :D

Functionality and every day play: Adidas, climacool stuff can't be beaten playing in the heat, the climacool shoes are by far the most comforatble shoes ever.

Personally, I am a colourful guy, so i lov Lindeberg, but the availability of J Lindeberg in North Carolina is a problem. I have been wearing mostly Lacoste and Adidas. I perfer the tighter fit so normally i size down. I hate pulling up that left sleeve.

I personally like the lighter materials such as the Addidas Clima Fit and Dri Fit by Nike. I have heaps of Polo Ralph Lauren simplicty is such a thing of beauty with these shirts. I also have some shirts by Smedley Engalnd very nice light materials they use and ever so comfortable.

Out of curiousity, what is the price point of Smedley England? Never heard of them here in Canada.

I'm not quite sure what the price point is on Smedley as I recieve these shirts as presents as I live in Australia and we don't get it here. Maybe some of our UK memebers can answer this question. All I know is apparently they are ultra expensive.

Agreed on the dri-fit........ although I have found not all dir-fit is equal. the UV has more polyester than regular dri-fit(check the label) and here in Florida's humidity cotton is so annoying.

 

RL is my other choice also :clapping:

The Adidas line is awesome, especially their Clima-Cool line for summer / warm conditions, and Polo makes an awesome golf shirt as well.

Our golf team got the Adidas Climacool half zip polos as team shirts last year, they weren't bad great for a hot day but they never stay tucked in, kind of annoying.

 

As for favorite brand? Whatevers on sale at Golf Galaxy or the department store.
