I have to say, visually I hate that stupid (in my opinion) V-R logo that is too often in Nike's products - "victory red" is a tiger reference. Okay, fine, I get it. But I think it is dumb and looks dumb combining the two letters and making the R red. There, I said it.

As long as Nike is affiliated with Tiger then the Tiger haters will hate Nike.

i play a nike putter and a 3 wood right now...

even bought a Micro fibre towel... and am glad they don't have the Vr logo... I would not have bought the towel if all i could find was the black and red VR one... kind of pointless and should just stick with the sexy swoosh!!!

Don't hate Nike - I game a nike putter - Don't hate Tiger - unimaginable record - unconscious talent and fun to watch! But as I wrote above - I hate the VR logo - does everything have to have a sinister motive?

I kind of agree with the vr logo . Was great when it first came out but time for a new name... And not covert( fine for the driver name and GI line) but the pro combos and blades could use a refresh . That being said, I have an all nike bag and am a el Tigre fan.

I agree with you, although I think the VR logo looks cool. I think Nike Golf can stand on it's own at this point with how good the equipment is, they can branch off the "VR/TW" line and still have a solid "Nike" line without so much emphasis on TW. That said, having TW and Rory in your stable is always a good problem to have in terms of marketing and brand recognition.

Wow! If these are what is being released with the adjustable sole weights (Method Modern Classics), I am extremely disappointed! I knew the Rory headshape wouldn't come to retail but they don't even have the Casey/006 Proto shape in there. And they completely screwed up the "GoLo" version by adding all the unnecessary additional sight lines!

Huge miss by Nike on this one.

Regarding the Pro Combos the 4 PC and 4 split cavity irons are exactly what the JDM specs were (no blades).

Any idea if a full split-cavity set can be custom ordered like we see on tour?

If Nike allegedly sticks to an only 2 players iron lineup (Pro Combos & blades) they'll be way behind.

Just looked at the above download again, and it also looks like the Method Modern Classics do not have adjustable weights. Stated weight for the 33" models is 360g and the 34"/35" models are 345g, which leads one to think that they are "fixed weight". You would think it would say adjustable weight or give a weight range if they were inter-changeable.

Agree completely on the Method 00/GoLo model. I was waiting to see that one and the added sight lines are a downer. The head with the one line would be perfect. I guess the added lines were to differentiate it from the Scotty.

No 006 TAI PROTO? It would be an Instant classic and best seller. Even with a limited run.
Nike needs to go back to designing cleaner looking clubs. Less is more.

The Forged Blade is still the best looking iron ever produced.

Ok guys, so I was really afraid of this.. The PCs are right hand only for now... I'm not one of the guys who can afford trading out clubs all the time and have gamed the same irons for 5 years.. Our season starts in November, any advice on waiting for nike to release these left handed (plus I want the blades in 8 down) or save a little cash, get the current PCs and ignore that these exist??

Man, huuuuuuge let down on the putters. Seems like a big swing and a miss to me. They look cheap, and have the ugly boxy head shapes. Maybe still hope for a limited release 006. If not, my wallet would like to sincerely thank Nike golf.

Are the new pro combos really RH only? I know the lefty whining gets old but with nike the pro combo/blades were the only options we had since the vr forged were RH only. I understand the logic and it is about making money with RH only releases, it's pretty disappointing though as I know a lot of lefties have really enjoyed the nike irons over the years.
