Odyssey No. 7 Putter - Which one do you like best?

Which one do you like best and also, which one is the most compact? Thanks.

I play the White Ice #7 from 2010 and I have never had any complaints. Before that, I had the White Hot XG #7 which is the same head with a slightly different face insert.

In both cases, these are the smaller of the two #7 head sizes, double bend shaft, and with the three dot alignment aid. Overall, I like this head/shaft/alignment combo the best of all the #7 models. I could never really tell much difference between the face inserts, TBH.

To contradict myself slightly, the #7 model I covet the most is the White Hot Tour 7H that Luke Donald used to great success several years ago. Tough to find in good condition anymore, however.

Biggest thing for me is I prefer the smaller head over the larger and I like the 3 dot alignment better than the line.

If they ever release a smaller head, slant neck, model in a simple silver finish with the white Hot insert I’ll be all over that.

Interesting. I did not realize the White Ice was the Larger Head. Just assumed is was the smaller. Learn something new every day.

My favourite is the EXO 7s. Best feeling one I tried is the HWY 101 LE

For me it is either the Metal X Milled or original Tank with White Hot insert.

O Works 7S? 3 dots, smaller head, slant neck? You could always get the head bead blasted to raw stainless. Can't help you with White Hot insert though.

Still playing the 7 center shaft XG. The head is the smaller version and the XG is the softer of the faces. I benched my Scotty for the 7CS from 08 I found at the golf store for like $70.

I really like the tank models with the heavier larger head. I got an O-Works black in the bag now.

WH Pro. I'll take it along when my stroke needs "training wheels".

Nothing can replace my o-works 7 bwb. Sets up so well and just works for my stroke. Not the biggest fan of the hinge face, prefer wh, but looks and set up outweigh the dead feel no feedback from the hinge technology imo. This thing holes putts!

Any feedback on the RX model? Thanks.

I briefly had an O-Works 7 with the White Hot face that was apparently off the tour truck? It was great but ultimately the 7s is what I really wanted.

I really like the tank models with the heavier larger head. I got an O-Works black in the bag now.

 

 

I play an anser style soft carbon putter but decided I wanted to try a mallet with more forgiveness to see if It would help in the spring when greens are slow and choppy. Yesterday I purchased a Odyssey metal x milled #7 in great shape off the bay. Is this considered a mallet that is forgiving on mishits or just a bladed putter with a different shape? I was going to buy a Spyder but went this route unstead because I love the look of fang putters. It just occurred to me that the #7 design may be more about its appeal to the eye than its ability to help the ball roll on off center strikes. What say you Golfwrx #7 users?

The 7 Odyssey is very popular for a reason and has been copied by almost every manufacturer. Helped me particularly on shorter putts, well balanced. Good luck with yours. BTW, I also considere it a mallet.

My favourite has always been the “H” sized models as well as well as the grey and versa Tank 7 models from a while back.

#7 Versa is very compact.

I loved the Milled RSX simply because it has a single bend shaft.

I am a big fan of the SL #7, been playing it for a year and best putter I have found.

If the metal x milled I just bought from Ebay looks have as nice as that White Ice I would be happy. That putter is clean as £♧c$. I wouldn't give that one up ever. Classic.

My gamer is a WHP #7 and recently put the Stroke Lab double-bend shaft in it.. Back-up is a Versa 7H with the Exo black shaft....tough to not carry two putters to be honest hah!
