Golf gods did not appreciate the arrogance last night. Now here's a funny thought. Morikawa is a heck of a player who could be a big time winner over the next 20 years. What if he ends up with more majors than Koepka?

Colin has looked solid AF on this championship round. If he wins, which it looks like he will, congrats to him.

I know, it was great seeing him choke for the second week in a row after talking all that smack. The magic is gone.

Looks like he probably declined an on camera interview w/CBS post round. Will be interested to hear what he has to say when he sits with the media.

I saw an interview yesterday where he was asked what gives him an advantage and he said his experience winning multiple majors. Is that what everybody is referring to? What do people expect him to say? Bet none of those guys took offense.

The tone of it was absolutely intended as a put-down towards all the guys. Age 23 Morikawa just might end up with a better career than Koepka, which is the hilarious thing about those comments. Nicklaus & Tiger never spouted off like that to their peers. They let their sticks do the talking. Golf gods gave Brooks a pretty serious piece of humble pie today. It seems he didn't take it very well judging by his refusal to speak to media.

What Brooks said about DJ was disrespectful, what Rory said in Dj's defence was correct. Brooks seems like a jerk, full of himself. Hopefully this will teach him to let his clubs do the talking.

karma is a B. Brooks needs to play better..I have been saying since I got to watch Morikawa play in the barracuda last year he is going to be a stud.

I don't remember Tiger ever being like that. As they say "Any man who must say, I am the king, is no true king". Tiger never needed to say it, everybody knew. Koepka should probably keep his mouth shut and let his golf do the talking.

Rory was right in what he said that Koepka is overvaluing majors to his own career detriment. Maybe he should start putting the same effort into week-to-week golf if he wants to be considered an all-time great. 7 PGA Tour wins doesn't cut it next to Rory's 18 and DJ's 21.

I’ll admit, I’ve been a Koepka fan. I like cockiness and confidence of an elite player, but this... just reeks of being a prick. It doesn’t matter in the least, but I’ll probably not be rooting for Koepka for awhile.

Koepka has been on an incredible run in the majors the last few years. But majors are not everything. If he put in the same effort at the regular events that he does at majors, he might not have the same amount of wins in the majors. It takes a ton of energy to win any event on the high level pro golf tours. That's what was incredible with Nicklaus & Woods. They showed up ready to win every single tournament they played and both ended up with 70+ wins. That means putting your mind & body through the stress of contending every week, instead of the "save energy" approach that Koepka is using in the regular events. It works for him in the majors and that's awesome. But it will be a bit of a black mark on his record if he finishes his career with 8-10 majors and barely any regular wins.

Watch out for Morikawa too. He could be a big problem for Koepka moving forward. Collin is only 23 years old with incredible ballstriking/accuracy. He will keep getting better as he gains more experience.

I agree that he was being a jackhat and will have to eat crow, but there are a lot of people talking about Morikawa might have a better career than him...there are only 19 people in Major history that currently have a better major record than him. But yes, it was nice to watch him choke after those words.
