No it isn't, I am asking because I am curious. Not sure where you come into play in this scenario...

If he can't answer the question then they certainly weren't obtained through legitimate means. Authenticity questions are definitely in play and that could be cleared up knowing their origin as well.

It is cool to see the detailed pictures of the clubs though. You can't post pictures of unreleased golf clubs in your personal possession on a forum like this without saying how or why, that is common sense

My head also hurts. Didn't OP just do this? Or did I just divide by zero...

I didn't write the sentence correctly. I meant - You can't post pictures of unreleased golf clubs in your personal possession on a forum like this without saying how or why AND NOT EXPECT PEOPLE TO ASK, that is common sense

Don't forget having your posts hyped in WRX e-mail or Facebook posts. It just feels a little planned.

The hybrid has my interest. The driver not so much. I've never hit a driver as well as I have with the m1. I don't plan on changing that anytime soon. What about a look into the 2017 m2 fairway woods?

My biggest question: How much have you been offered for these clubs, OP? lol

I like that they kept the crown the same, and prefer the looks of the new drivers on the sole, vs the old.

I think the crown it a little different than the last model. It looks like it has more of the black carbon fiber on the crown and less of the white titanium compared to the last model.

I like the new thinner looking hosel adjustment.

Just because your tour rep said no one "should" have them does not mean no one has them.

"Should" is a normative statement. Trained as an economist, I like positive statement.

My original thought was not to disclose the source of these golf clubs. But the interests are just too high to ignore.

I share my pictures on GolfWRX to make it a better place for all golfers, as we all do.

This was my original intention when I wrote my first topic about my golf life in China. I still and will continue to believe in it.

I said the same thing to our great editor, Zak, too.

This has nothing to do with "legitimacy, authority, and common sense" or what have you. And I do not like people telling me what I can and cannot post on this forum, especially when my intention is to contribute.

I am a member of an amazing golf club, which belongs to a renowned Casino. I won't say the name, but if you read my old post you'd know.

A friend of mine, also a member of my club, has tremendous connections in the equipment business - think the recent Honma IPO in Hong Kong.

So, getting a few Taylormade sticks is really no big deal.

I hope this answers your question.

Bill, (may i call you Bill?) you don't need to answer to anyone. I believe the majority of this forum would agree with me when I say I appreciate the info/pictures, and for your continued efforts to fight the good fight.

I appreciate you saying that.

Not sure if you've seen Lost in Translation, but when I made my trip to Tokyo in stayed at Park Hyatt, went to the sky lounge, and ordered Suntory single malt. Just like Bill did in the movie. There is a scene which he plays golf at Mount Fuji.

Didn't get the chance to visit the course last time. It will always be on my bucket list.

So now the game improvement irons need face slots? But the better player irons don't? Are we now as game improvers just stuck with the ugliest possible irons? The F6 at least are progressive and good looking with it although the feel varies dramatically.

As a TM person they're definitely turning into Callaway of 6 years ago with the gimmicks and daft looking clubs.

The hybrid I'm not sure of either would have to hit them. R15, Aeroburner and M1 all fell out the sky. The M2 was a bit better but Nike/Titelist hybrids worked well fore last 2 years or so. Good distance and very high which is what I need as a 26.7 HCP.

Alright, I'm not sure where my original post got so twisted but my overall point has been totally lost.

If some random guy showed up at your course tomorrow with all the new TaylorMade clubs 4+ months before they even are rumored to be releasing most everyone would say, "Wow! Where the heck did you get those?!" Apparently WRX is so jaded by prerelease info and pics they don't even wonder anymore they just fawn over them and ask for some crown pics...

I guess I will bow out and fall in line with the drones and say thanks for the high-resolution professional shots, you are the man!

Hope no one at Dicks Sporting Goods gets fired...

personally love the look of the Irons. The M2 Driver, I like 2016 model imo. Hybrid looks very busy on the bottom for me. I felt like last years, is much cleaner and crisp.
