Liking this thread. With the virus issue, I’ve walked more this spring to keep my distance- so pulled my Bag Boy Quad out of mothballs. Exercise is probably good for this old fat boy.

Really wish there was a good arrangement option so you don't have to flip the clubs when riding. Too much of a pain, esp with 14 way divider

Got out the pushcart and bag from the car to test out the new accessories. This lockdown has me shopping out of complete boredom. My wife took a video of me taking these pictures and was calling me a tool ?

Bushnell V4 Patriot with new Monument Golf strap. Great way to walk and have your rangefinder always accessible.

 

I read some other posts about the clubs being reversed and hitting the driver shaft with iron heads. I've never noticed anything like that happening and don't think I will make any changes.

 

Also, I took a picture of my heavy Sun Mountain C-130 cart bag, never had an issue with the bag rubbing the front wheel like some others have.

Been forever since I've used a pushcart but this thread has inspired me.

What is the best push cart for a tall person? I'm 6'6" and I remember hating my old Clic Gear because the handles were too low to be perfectly comfortable.

I’m only 6’1”, but would venture a BagBoy Quad XL might be worth a look, they have 3 wheelers I just haven’t used any of those. Love my Quad though.

Do anyone have any problem using a stand bag on their pushcart? Would it better to have a cart bag for more storage or stuff like that?

I never had a problem with my Ogio stand bag. I needed a new bag so went with a cart bag because I would either ride or push, never carry anymore.

I use a C130 stand bag. Works well with my caddytek. It has a decent amount of storage.

I will try to snag a photo next time I take it out.

Why would one have to “switch their clubs around” when riding? I always have my woods/longest clubs at the top of the bag (when in the carrying position. This also keeps them in the same position when on my push cart. I have never “switched” the clubs when riding (stand side goes towards the cart) and have never had an issue with the woods/longest clubs around n the rearmost position.

I used to be a Clicgear 3.5+ user, but had a chance to get a Bagboy Quad XL for free, to took it. It is great, easier to fold, lighter and the bag rides a bit better. But still like the Clicgear product. Just got a new Nike Air Hybrid bag. This is going to be a great combo.

I agree. Will always work 1 way and be somewhat of a pain the other. I just want to start using it soon. I live in the wrong state!!!

Here is my Clicgear 3.5+ with Taylormade Cart Lite bag. I made a couple of changes...with a mallet putter it was too crowded so I made an external putter tube that attaches to the bag where the umbrella would go, Then I bought an adjustable pad kit from Clicgear that is made to help with mounting a stand bag but it spaces the bag up a little more. I also installed an extension kit from Clicgear that mounts the upper bracket up about 3" if I recall.

A friend has a new Clicgear 4 and it's basically the same with a couple of really nice refinements. They've redesigned the top bracket to make it adjustable for height and bag angle I guess you'd say. They've also done away with the bungee's and use rubber straps like the Rovic uses.

I like the idea of the external tube for the putter. 'Never liked that my putter is in the front of the bag, as it's always banging up on the driver's shaft. I have a fat grip on my putter, so a standard tube probably wouldn't work. Do you have a wide tube?

if you are asking me :), then yes. The putter tube is great. I believe it is made wide enough for the modern fat grips. I have standard pistolini grip on my putter though.
