What putter did you just buy ?

Just picked up a mint condition Nike Method 001.  Fun to try out a bit of golf history, but practically trying to find a Newport shape putter without an alignment line and only a dot is nearly impossible.

Brillo maybe. Or just sand the whole thing. I have that exact same putter inthink. Soft as butter

Start with barkeepers friend.  If that doesn't work I'd try a coke bath.  Another option would be to remove the head and find a local shop to bead blast it, shouldn't cost much.  I'd keep the rust vs sanding personally.

I am a fan of patina as well. I usually apply some lead tape to that area of these older 8802 models. May need to clean it for better contact area

Just got this.  I love the putter.  Hate the goofy split velcro headcover.  Scotty could learn a thing or two about putter headcovers from Bob Parsons.

That's sweet especially the gentle tri-sole on the Anser shape.

Nothing too sexy. Had some gift cards to burn and wanted something should my er2b not work as I hoped. Something about this shape just feels comfortable. And I hate inserts usually but this one felt pretty good. I like how it wraps around the bottom should I catch it a little low on the face.

Just built this.  I’ve been wanting a solid, milled putter with no insert.  Only hit it on carpet but it feels so solid. Much better feel than the Nike I was using.  Debated about making it with a double bend shaft but went with the slant neck.

It was custom. Turn around time was almost exactly a week this go around.

My last purchase was a Ping Pal 2 from the 80's (I think). Nice low profile face, a little wider toe-to-heel,  and lighter than a Newport 2. Thirty-six inches long so a little easier on the back. This thing can't miss.
