Just hit the range about an hour ago, and tried 4 new drivers, and have about 7 in storage. Nothing comes close to my x hot project x stiff. Right off the rack, perfect for me, no need to adjust anything. Wish Cally would take note.

Currently playing my Callaway Razr Fit driver …. gotta be 5 years old now. Hadn't found anything better since, but just ripping my new 3 wood … Epic Sub Zero 13.5* … so I've just bought an Epic Sub Zero 9* driver. Looking forward to seeing how it performs vs the Razr

Got the Cobra Flyz and BB Fusion. Can't decide which is best so I switch between them. Looking to get a mid weight (60ish gram shaft) for the Fusion at 44.5. Got my eyes on an evenflow blue kk tini black.

 

Play the flyz at 44.5 with a dvs shaft.

Played the last couple of seasons with a 905r. Ballspeed as good as most keeps up with my epic sz, ltd pro, m3. I feel really comfy with this older head. I have a 2016 m2 tour issued head that will likely kick it out this year. Picked up around 2mph ballspeed with it but nothing mind blowing.

915D4, paired with a Pro Orange. Tried all the new stuff against it, nothing beat it combing accuracy and length.

Taylormade SLDR 430. Cant hit it at all. I hate it. 98% my own fault, can't put a good swing on non-iron clubs. I refuse to buy a new driver until I can hit it. Maybe I'm an idiot.

2014 Big Bertha Alpha (although brand new at the time of the OP)

Titleist 907D2 (2009?)

And a Cleveland hi-bore from 2004.

All give me solid results, and all do slightly different things that I may need depending on course.

Still playing Cobra Fly-z+. Last 2 summers have gone in to get fit with current gear and both times have been told no reason to purchase new as Fly-z+ had best numbers. Seems crazy with all the talk of gains year after year from manufacturers. Think I bought it for $169 on close out on a whim after hearing how awesome it was. That was like 4 or 5 years ago. Best purchase ever for me. Certainly makes me think twice when I see the price of new releases.

Got it for $150 brand new when Nike announced them closing their Golf hardware. I have hit most of the new stuff on simulators and they all hit so similarly that spending $500 on a brand new driver seems pointless

Nike vr tour driver. Tis be thee ole faithful. I’ve used this throughout my HS years and still use it now. But middle of the face is such a powerful cushion impact feel that follows a piercing flight. I do want something more forgiving but with a players shape. Over these years of continued use. that 420 pear head isn’t nothing to hit, sometimes feel regular sized drivers seem too big, but they’ll still hit like their supposed to. Lol but I’ll leave it there

It can be a sickening feeling when it comes over you in the Golf Galaxy checkout line that that orange Graphite Design shaft for tree fiddy is not returnable and isn’t gonna do shat for your freakshow swing

the newest one is an XR16 that I've reshafted twice and still don't like all that much.

favorite is the Steelhead III. nicest sounding driver I have. not as long but who really cares, it plays well.

then comes the FT5. I still like that one.

back up for that is a 975D.

can always bring the Bobby Jones deep face or a Warbird.

won't mention the other half dozen vintage ones that wait for their turn in the sun.

Played a ping G10. Found a G20 for 50 bucks like new. So I did the review thing. Rick Schiel on iTunes rated the G20 as high or higher than the newest ping g410. It was actually more forgiving. $50 bucks slight upgrade color me there lol
