Made it a year or more without buying anything new. Not sure when I’ll get around to shafting them up. Heads have a pretty long blade length which I like. 4 iron head being the same length  and height of my J15CB 4 iron. Kinda surprised with the size of the long irons, but I like it.

Great irons. In my opinion, one of Ping's best, and that's saying a lot.

I rotate around quite a bit given that I do a lot of clubmaking but I replaced the PXG Gen 4 XT (trying to sell it in the BST) with this.

Going to play with it tomorrow but I've hit it into my net so far and the new sound is much improved. Much more of a metallic crack than the wooden bat thwack of all the other generations. I always liked the sound of PXG drivers but this is the best yet.

Picked a set up on a whim and instantly have become my gamers. From a guy who was a forged iron snob for 6 years I don’t feel I lose anything with these in feel, forgiveness, or control.

There is foam between the wood and the shaft.  But yes harder than your Super Stroke

so far I really like it. Coming from the Nike air hybrid it is a bit of an adjustment as it has much different storage. Definitely a much different setup, but the overall quality is really good. I had it personalized and it took about 15-16 days to get it to me. Sharp looking bag, but if you plan to carry a ton of stuff in your bag maybe look elsewhere.
