My Srixon Z745's were stolen from my care but loved the irons so much I needed a set.  Purchased a set of 5-PW and to round out the build a set of TT DG TI X7's with Lampkin Crossline Cord grips and BB&F Ferrules.  The epoxy set and grips installed I have one range session in the bag and I couldn't be happier.

So… I purchased a set of PXG 0211 DC irons a couple of months ago and I just couldn’t get used to the feel of them.  The lofts were a bit too jacked for my liking and I just did not like the feel of the irons.  I sold them and went with a set of Gen3 0311P irons and I felt the difference immediately.  I stayed with the stock MMT graphite shafts in stiff flex.  The yardage gaps of the 0311P irons are far more consistent with my beloved TMag PSi irons that were my primary gamers for several seasons.  For me there is no comparison of feel from the 0211 DC irons to the 0311P irons.  Ordered them from PXG on June 15th and they were delivered on June 20th.  I had multiple range sessions and played a few rounds with the 0211 DC irons and the feel just wasn’t there.  Played 9 holes with 0311P irons and had a solid range session with no issues.  They feel great.  No real adjustment period…. I think the 0311 Forged Wedges are awesome and are a great value.  I kept those in my bag 🙂

yes seeing how im using the stiffest option its the only way to stiffen up the PW so it plays closer to flex.  you can tip trim 0.355 shafts about 3/8 before having to bore out the hosel to account for the taper

My club was a bit short-sighted and bought 6 sims during covid. They offered 4 of them up to the members for a song, so my regular playing partner and I decided to capitalize.

 

Just got it up and running yesterday. Our season is about ~7 months long and this is a dream come true for both of us.

What. A. Find! I still haven't forgiven and probably never my wife for tossing the one I split in half. Spring cleaning led to its demise while I tried to figure out the best way to epoxy it back together lol. Shame. I loved that driver!

Definitely the best looking wedge out now. They have slightly more bounce than I'm used to so it'll take a bit to adjust.
