Nice looking work he has.

I just added Byron Morgan to the list, a bit pricey but not as expensive as a fishing boat =).

Here's the link of the putter I was talking about

Thanks, was watching one of those one the bay. Bettinardi added to the list. I kind of like the Mizuno branded ones since I don't see those anymore.

I like Kari Lajosi, Xenon, Byron Morgan, Kingston(GSS at a great price) and Black Lab. I just started a collection and ordered a Lajosi first because of the current exchange rate with Australia. Love his wrap around Lizard design. My Xenon arrived the other week and am enjoying it. Next will be the Byron followed by the other two. Have fun with your collection.

Kevin Burns, Gauge Design,John Byron, Tad Moore,Bettinardi, Bobby Grace and TP Mills all have made cool Anser style putters. As far as pings go Scottsdale Anser, dale head Anser, Anser 85029 long step, Anser 85020, Anser2 pat. Pending

Good luck!

This year I picked up putters from Machine, Xenon, Mannkrafted, Bettinardi, SeeMore, and Ping.

My future additions (when the Canadian dollar rebounds and/or I find a deal) will include a Lajosi, TP Mills, Low Tide, Tad Moore, Kevin Burns and an RT-1. I've got specific models I'm hunting for.

I've neglected this station in my bag for too long.

Tad has a few beautiful blades available that can be had a reasonable prices if you are on the look out.

You can't say you have a putter collection without a Bettinardi. He makes the best putters you can get imo.

Unless you're LH in which case Bettinardi barely makes anything for you. Much better options worth collecting for lefties, like Byron, Lajosi and MannKrafted.

Unless you're intent on collecting truly rare putters (and spending the big bucks), focus more on what you would use.

Good advice here.

Good advice from VNutz above too.

I "got into collecting" putters years ago. Thought it was a fun hobby and kept me from spending my money on other worthless things.

Now I have about 80 putters that I don't use and have no idea what I'm going to do with.

I lost the collector bug and now the only thing they are collecting is dust.

But hey...............................it's better than blowing your money at the bar - at least that's what my wife says. ;)

I think it's fun to keep a little stable but think it's a bit odd to collect much of anything. The trick is to thin the herd regularly. Make yourself sell something before you buy anything else even if you lose money on the sale. I just sold a putter yesterday and am stoked to box it up and get it out of here. I hadn't taken it on the course in months anyways. I don't know if I'd own anything that I wouldn't take on the golf course, but it hasn't been a problem for me yet.

I did just buy one yesterday, so I can't get too high and mighty. It's right-handed so it's definitely a flipper. No point in holding onto it.

Don't start.....thank me later.

Most will end up collecting dust, and people will wonder why you have 10+ putters when you can really only use one. And you will suck at putting with most of them. I mean really, what's the point?

LOL, this was my thought. I started collecting this winter and at one point had a few TP Mills, a Truett Mills TPM handmade, Byron Morgan, and a Scotty. Then I came to my senses and sold them all and bought a couple of nice putters that I would game.

Spend the money to get properly fit for a putter. Buy that putter and if the results work then cookie cutter it if you want a similar putter spec wise but a different maker.

First off, as others have mentioned, this can get dangerous, so I suggest having a focus or style you're going after, otherwise eBay is littered with literally thousands of options and you can go broke quickly. And while they might seem like deals, they are usually difficult to unload.

I wouldn't collect if I was you. If you want to buy more putters I'd only get what you think you will use on the course.

Unless you're intent on collecting truly rare putters (and spending the big bucks), focus more on what you would use.

My plan is to collect only putters I like gaming. Good thing is I'm pretty much a blade guy who plays anser/anser 2 style with 1/4-1/2 toe hang at 350-370g. So yeah, pretty much only going to buy stuff I can play.
