Can all SNKRs app shoes be resold for a profit? I only go after the ones that I'd actually wear which are few and far between. If I can make a few bucks, I'd probably pay more attention.

Only the hyped ones for the most part. Off-White, artist collaborations (Travis Scott AJ1), most of the pairs with the “draw” release you can make a profit from.

After StockX/PayPal fees, quick turnarounds for BIG payouts are pretty rare. The longer you can hold them, the more they will be worth, obviously, but for myself, I’m not interested in becoming a warehouse. :)

 

There are websites and groups that follow this sort of thing and get information ahead of time of how limited a release will be and how in demand a release will be. I’m sure. I’m just not that into it and haven’t looked into it. Flipping the Scotts, as one poster did above, would have been awesome. I just have too many hobbies currently. Maybe next year I’ll get into it more.

 

The thing I like most of buying from NDC and SNKRS is that it’s risk free. If you buy, and there’s no market, just use the free return. But in a lot of cases, you can make $20 on the flip. It’s not much, but NDC gives you more prebuys and the more you sell on StockX, the lower your seller fees go.

 

So by flipping a good amount of shoes, you make a little money each time, but you build up a database at those companies and get more offers.

 

If I could have gotten my Grails 1 day earlier, I could have sold for $50 more per pair. So a prebuy with faster shipping let’s you get your shoes to the market before everyone else and the price falls.

 

It’s a fun little game.

Got mine today they are tighter than I had hoped. Well I now know for the next xi release

Mine came in. Fit is dead on for me. I’m right between a 10 and a 10.5 and the 10 leaves the proper toe room. A wide width would be perfect, but breaking them in will make them the correct width.

Not that it helps anyone now, but I wear 13 in most J's. I have to go up to 14 in 3's and 11's. I bought these golf 11's in 14 and they fit perfectly.

 

When the golf 4's come out for the 30th anniversary, I'll order size 13 because that's the size I wear in 4's.

 

So to say the sizes are all over the place is a little misleading. The sizes in the golf J's are the same size in normal J's.

 

Lastly, to think they won't go with shorts? Um, they were originally basketball shoes and are designed to be worn with shorts.

 

About the "hassle" of flipping the shoes for $100 profit. No hassle unless you live like 100 miles from UPS. Otherwise the process goes like this: Get shoes, open StockX app, sell shoes, print label, drop off at UPS. I had a pair of Yeezy's last year I had in my possession a grand total of 20 minutes, and I live 15 minutes from UPS. Didn't even open the box. Doorstep, app, printer, drove to UPS.

 

Golf 4's? Tell me more.

 

I'm just guessing they'll release this year. 30th anniversary and all. I could be wrong.

 

But in the regular, basketball versions, there will be a ton of 4's this year due to the anniversary. Much like the 3's last year.

 

i wonder how jb is gonna treat the mesh/netting on the 4s for the golf version? i can see that being a pita to keep clean and from yellowing too soon

They definitely fit at least a half size small, I don't know how people are saying they're true to size. Compared to my non-golf XIs, these are narrower and shorter in length. Annoyed that the sizing is all over the place.

 

I agree. I think that most of the golf versions of the Jordan Retro basketball models run at least a half size smaller. Not learning my lesson from the AJ3 Golf, I ordered the wrong size again with the AJ11 Golf. :swoon2: I stuck shoe trees in them in hopes of stretching them out a bit.
