I tell ya.  Sometimes I wonder.  About a lot of things.  And being out of center , inexplicably, is one of them.  But if you want  to recenter. A kid with a world of potential will do it.  I swear my boy keeps me on task, and up beat.  Almost instantly on contact.  If all teens were this way , it’d be a great place.  
 

 

Played first even of the year this morning. Shot a birdie free 75 , with one bad hole ( double on 5th ) after a drive OB by a foot and a half.  I didn’t even sniff any money.  😂.  But I had a par run that was hole 6-18.  Oh well.  So I jetted home and changed to head to a track meet 40 min away , and got there just in time to see the aforementioned kid run a new PR in the 800m at 2.04.  Finished second , beating one of his seniors teammates.   AND their 4x800 m team all went out and ran a new PR , beating the old one by 15 seconds.  
 

suddenly , the abnormally hard workweek and lackluster showing this morning is all good. 😊

Once in a 4 man scramble we got to the final hole and HAD to use Tony's drive.  He dribbled it into the rough 50 yards off the tee.  Lucky for us it was a par 5 and we made a 5.  I think we came in around 64-65.  Could have been better without Tony's drive.  Poor Tony... I think he contributed about 2 shots on the day.

Swear, was one scramble. Was this weird par 4 hard dogleg right. But the tee box was super elevated and to make it impossible to cut the dogleg, there was this giant tree growing like 20 yards out right in front of you,

 

But was this one gap, and is scramble ya?

 

So, I blast one through there…but alas, never found my ball
