Should be the same drop as the Flyknit Elite if the sole is the same. Does anyone have the drop info for that one? If it's a 0 drop shoe I'm all over it.

I went and tried the LCV's on today, they're a definite improvement to the LC4 in my opinion, but they are very similar. To say they fit the exact same wasn't true in my experience. I did find that it was also fairly narrow at the widest part of the foot, but that there seemed to be less extra space at the end of the toe than what I had in the LC4. I went down a half size as I still had more extra length in the front and the back of the shoe, about a 1/4" but the 10 was just too narrow to be comfortable and I don't think that material will stretch very much. While I think the best fit for me would probably be a 10W, I'm going to order a 10.5 in wolf grey and give it a month and see how it goes.

For anyone who has seen them in person, is the sole the same material as last year's Elites or did they change it a bit?

 

I compared to the flyknit elite they had in the store. Sole looks the same to me.

 

Same patterns and tread cut outs.

 

Thanks Les, I imagine the soles would be the same but curious if the material is the same? Maybe a little firmer plastic?

That was what I did when I woke up at 4, went on a search, that is how I found the LCV on sale. That is about the only store I know that release at the same time or before NDC. I bought my Premiere's from them like 3-4 days before they went live on NDC,

Black on black isn't in the catalog but Golfposer seems to be getting it. This could be an NDC only release like the fruity pebbles chukkas. No wide available in it but it will be in the black/metallic silver

I put in a cancellation for the LCV's. I am not sure why I want to get back in the "fit" fight, other than wanting the "newest" shoe and getting all excited I found it for $20 less and a day early.

 

I have 2 new white FI's in the box, and ordered another black pair for $80 Wednesday. I just need to stop looking for shoes, already found "The One" for me. I may just keep stocking up...lol.

Those are NOT Black on black. Those are the dark khaki green pair. The black have the light swoosh.

What's your source? Because they look nothing like the cargo khaki ones that are in the catalog, which have a lava glow swoosh, tongue script, and elite sole accent.

I believe they changed the accent color on the production model. My pro told me that and he got that information from the Nike rep. He could be mistaken though. Until there are in hand pics, it's all speculation. IMO.

Yeah, I agree they are known to do that so I'm not saying you're wrong, I was just curious what your source was. I guess I would be surprised though because the orange/military green motif is in a lot of other products this cycle.

Tried them on and took swings with them on. They are really padded and comfortable.

 

Local store is running a 15% off and these are included. May pull the trigger.
