How's the fit, Lesmond?

 

I wear a 9, tried on a 9. PERFECT!

 

The heel padding is awesome.

Tried them on and took swings with them on. They are really padded and comfortable.

 

Local store is running a 15% off and these are included. May pull the trigger.

 

 

They look good right there but definitely like a summer shoe.

Thanks! I plan on ordering ASAP. But I went to try on LC4 for size and felt my heel slipping up as I walked. I've never encountered that with my TW13 or TW15. It made me a little nervous about ordering LCV.

There is not that much padding on the Lunar Control 4 compared to these.

 

The pads on the heel help the fit in that area so much better.

Do they fit the same as LC4 in length and width? Were there Wides available? Nike website does not have wide available.

I didn't feel like it was, it felt snug from heel to forefoot. Which I like.

 

Not uncomfortable snug. But stability snug.

Just the white. I would like to see the gray in person. Might pull the trigger tomorrow.

 

I have $20 store credit, plus 15% off retail price of $174.

 

The only downside is it is a white color, but I don't think it'll get too crazy dirty. I rotate shoes frequently so I will only wear them on dry days, which is always pretty much when I play.

Picked up a pair of the grey ones at my local Golf Galaxy today. These things look great in person! I know they are calling the accent color orange, but honestly it's not that orange at all. Next to the Nike box, it's more of a pinkish orange, if that makes sense. The fit was spot on for me. I wear an 11 in the LC4's and the 11 in these fits perfect. Great support around the heel, as previously mentioned. The bottom is interesting. It feels like a ton of grip compared to the pictures, imo. I'm hopefully playing tomorrow and will defiantly have these on. I'll report more after a round, but I'm optimistic that they will exceed expectations! I'll try to post a few pics later when I get home

This was my fear with the grey version. Was hoping for an actual orange and not pink color. I'll wait to see the white/black color this weekend now before ordering.

I tried pair of these on today. My two takeaways were that these were most certainly not a zero drop shoe, and the second was that the amount of padding in the heel area is way overboard. I see 0 reason to have the amount of padding they have around the heel.

But the bottom nubs are definitely much more solid than I thought, for some reason I thought they had some flex to them. Would love to know if anyone has played in them yet.

Yeah the only difference - I think - in the two shoes is that those were designed so that all the weight was concentrated on those 5 or 6 cleat pods.
