Best wedge you have ever used

The best I ever used were the Cleveland Classics Tour Edition 485 Beryllium Coppers. Felt like cotton and spun like a top.

 

588 Copper were great wedges too. I have a 56* that comes out periodically when nothing else is cooperating.

Loved the Cleveland 588 DSG with the zip grooves. Still haven't found a better wedge.

They're still in pretty decent shape today.

The Nike VR Pro Forged were awesome. And then the Engage line was even better. The best ever - probably. Definitely in my top 3, along with the VR Pro and T7s

Ben Hogan TK wedges are outstanding for all shots, but especially delicate pitches around the green. So nimble. And I really like the SM7 F grind. My favorite from the fairway.

I thought my SM2 spun, they were put to shame by the VR Black Forged 60*.

 

Very noticeable increase in spin. Even 15 yd pitches would check up... Insane spin and the widest grooves I've ever seen... Maybe even wider (or as wide) then the original X-FORGED wedges (still in the bag).

I don't remember the model number, but it was a pre-spin milled Vokey 60 with 4 degrees of bounce and a big wide sole. It was incredible. I wore the grooves off of it, and have never found something that lived up to it as a replacement.

I had a Vokey oil can 54 degree wedge back in the day (I think it was the first one they marketed the oil can finish for, can't remember) that used to be an absolute par 5 third shot machine. If I laid up to the 100 yard plate for my 2nd shot, I used to have a birdie in the bag. I like the spin milled ones I have now, but for some reason the old oil can was an absolute sniper club for me.
