If it was an option I would skip the round of golf today and be at the Kingdom getting fit until I had to go to my flight...

Soooo, was that an option by chance?

You know, not much coming out of the guys right now. It's like they're having fun and enjoying this amazing trip with minimal thought of us!

I don't blame them! Of course I'd be looking in the woods for my golf ball

Is Aviara pricey for an out of towner to play?

Its a little steep. I think if you just call and book a time its about $225. But there are always deals available on Undepar.com I think the last one i saw was $399 for room and 2 rounds of golf for 2.

That's not too crazy, it looks pretty beautiful though! Might be worth it for the views. I'll put that on the list to check out the next time to go to SD.

What is the rate of hitting refresh that everyone else is using while they're at work? Obviously, hitting it continuously doesn't work, nor do we wanna miss a single post. Once every 10-15 minutes is good? I'm asking for a friend in case my boss is reading this.

Anytime I actively think about, "if anyone posted", I refresh. Haha.

Wow, what a day. Finally some San Diego sun ☀️.

Some quick thoughts from my round this AM. The M2 driver I was fit for is fantastic. Tweaked my back a little on the range this morning, but overall it was fantastic.

The TP5X and the non X are game changers. Yesterday, on trackman, I picked up 10 yards (yes literally) over my game ball, the B330S. This ball is worth the hype from my on course testing today. Soft feel and full bag performance...sign me up. My beloved B330S is on the chopping block.

On course today, I was able to hit multiple shots with Chandler's (TaylorMade staffer) P770s and his Wedges. I'm smitten. More to come as I start pulling my thoughts together.

I wanted to clarify my post about picking up 10 yards with the new TP5X. I forgot to mention that it was ten yards with the 6 iron. With the driver i picked up about 4, which is essentially not any major/noticeable difference but I'll take it.

I'm playing 330S now, how much FEEL difference do you notice?

Any significant changes in spin rate or angle of descent? Or was a lot of the added distance attributable to launch angle, ballspeed, or some other factor? I always love the allure of distance, but don't want to lose stopping power with my irons, especially the longer ones like a 6 iron.

This is my big question as well. I'd imagine with all the rain in SD it may not be a great litmus test to gauge stopping power especially on mid-long irons. I love the tour preferred X and am really excited to try the TP5/TP5x but stopping power is my big concern.

I have played the TP5x a couple of times, and the angle of descent is definitely better for long irons. I was able to stop my 5 iron on some solid Melbourne greens in Australia during summer that would not have happened normally. Definitely my new ball of choice for 2017.

Count me in for these questions/answers too. I play the B330 as my gamer ball, although I'm on the fence of going to Snell since it straight out has been performing for me.
