Probably going to announce he is playing in his tournament in December two weeks before and lap the field. Maybe the DUI was the greatest thing that could have happened to him. It put him in his place and humbled him a ton. He probably realized who he is and restructured his life and now is in the right state mentally to play golf.

Yeah, if only he'd had some public, embarrassing, humbling event take place in his life 8-10 years ago.

Everyone was quick to throw him under the bus and say he was awful person, no wanted to have his back. This time around people are more understanding and wanting to help.

Β

And 2011, 1 win

2012, 3 wins

2013, 5 wins and player of the year

He's literally had more back surgeries than top 10s since then. I certainly wouldn't want to have his back either.

Haha!

TW should just start a reality show called,

Β

"Wtf is Tiger Doing Today?"

Β

Ratings bonanza.

Β

I'm sure all of the "I think Tiger, wasted and totally incoherent behind the wheel of a high performance automobile, high AF on a opiate/benzo cocktail and arrested for DUI was the greatest thing to happen to him" crowd will watch 24/7.

My understanding is that oxy and other opioids prescriptions are registered in a national database that includes the prescribing doctor, drug prescribed and amount prescribed so it wouldn't be hard to determine the level of abuse unless Tiger was getting it from non-legal sources or means.

it is currently not available on a national database per se, however with almost every state having sn electronic prescription drug data base monitoring program(PDMP) in place, it is possible to go to the National Association of State Controlled Substances Authorities(NASCSA) to look up iniduvidual state rules, regards & laws.

Β

http://www.nascsa.org/rxMonitoring.htm

Β

Also, the DEA has access to all of the State's monitoring data bases showing everything that you mentioned also as you noted, whenever a Physicisn writes a script, regardless of who wrote it, who it's written for, etc, if it is filled by a pharmacy, the scripting doc comes up for the DEA to see.

Tiger will enter a diversion program in October and the DUI charges will be dropped and it will be removed from his record. This must sting for those that were hoping, and praying, for Tiger to get jail time?

Good, the junkie needs help, besides in my best Leona Helmsley voice "DUI's are for little people.

Β

With the level of media scrutiny and social media nowadays, how can anything be removed from one's record?

There were those who were actually hoping and praying he go to jail?

Β

Quite a few on here.

Β

I think it's accurate that some if not many were "hoping".

Β

But "praying"? No way. The only way I could see someone praying for that would be back in his prime. Then, there might be 150 guys who would pray for that ; )
